November 8, 2004- Getting Tough

Now that the Presidential Election is finally over. Washington can get their focus back on waging war, which seems to be their favorite pastime, one that they had to put on the back burner for a while until the elections were over and they knew conclusively just who was going to be the Commander-In Chief of the USA until January 20, 2009.Now that they know that there will be no change at the helm until that day, they have gone back to concentrating on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and elsewhere around the world. Since the Iraqi conflict seems to be the most intense of these, that is what they have focused on the most, at least until they decide to invade Iran sometime next year. So that means that they going to get very tough with the folks that they refer to as "insurgents" over Iraq way, especially those that are giving them the most problem. Right now, that boils down to one particular dude, that Al-Zawahiri dude, the doctor that is hanging around Iraq and causing Washington no small dose of trouble these days. He has headquartered himself in the city of Fallujah, which was once some kind of Holy Town or some such shit, and gathered together a bunch of fools and lackeys that listen to his bullshit and do his dirty work for him as he sits back and basks in the fame that it brings him and acts like some fuckin' big shot or something. America has had about enough of him and his boys, and they are starting to do something about it too. Yesterday, American forces started a large offensive in Fallujah, they kicked in the gates of the city and stormed in and started to "secure" things (take things over) like the hospital and the business buildings and so forth. This is the start of what Washington is calling the largest offensive by American troops since Vietnam, and possibly the bloodiest too. America knows that Al-Zawahiri has many loyalists just laying in wait somewhere in Fallujah, the only question is where and how many, and they should be finding that out anytime now. Washington justifies this offensive by saying that they just have to get rid of Al-Zawahiri because the guy's a fuckin' troublemaker deluxe, after all, he is Osama bin Laden's physician, so how much more dedicated to the fanatical islamic cause can you be, so America just wants this dude dead right away. The thinking is that if he is killed, that his followers will cut the shit and realize that resistance is futile, and be good Iraqi citizens and not try and fuck up things in Iraq anymore. The problem is, that if America wants to kill Al-Zawahiri, they are going to have to mount this massive offensive in Fallujah and ultimately kill untold numbers of Iraqis either loyal to the dude or who are just unfortunate enough to be caught in the crossfire there. Washington is determined to do whatever it takes to put an end to Al Zawahiri, and they are very prepared to just blast all of Fallujah into rubble, they have started that already, and it continues as I write this. They want to send a powerful message to anyone in Iraq that continues to oppose them, either give it the fuck up or else risk being crushed unmercifully and destroyed. Whether or not that actually happens in Fallujah is up for grabs, America knows that they have not even begun to have the real resistance to their efforts yet, and they are not even sure what form that resistance will ultimately take. They do know that they are running the risk of taking more casualties than they have taken in decades, and that the only way that many Americans will ever leave Fallujah is in a box of some kind. So, the stakes are very high here, this is not some insignificant bullshit.

Washington says that this is all necessary because of the elections that are due to be held in Iraq in January sometime. They say that fuckers like Al Zawahiri do nothing but destroy and disrupt the process, and that they cannot let people like him and his followers keep on holding things up in Iraq any longer. If Washington does nothing about him much longer, they seem to feel that he will disrupt the elections not only in Fallujah, but elsewhere in Iraq. So they say that they have to go get his ass now in order to preserve the elections. The problem with that is that they are going to have to basically destroy Fallujah in its entirety and kill many of its inhabitants as well, so it will be pretty hard to find anyone left in that city to cast a vote once Election Day comes, unless Al-Zawahiri just gives up without a fight, and that will never happen. So mounting a massive offensive like this cannot possibly help elections if you destroy everything and kill everyone, so America must have another thing in mind here, and they certainly do. This is not about the elections, this is about showing anyone that opposes them that they will just destroy your sorry ass if you don't play ball with them as they want it played. America is not concerned with killing the potential voters because they knew that the citizens of Fallujah did not support them and would not vote for the candidate that Washington wanted, so they need to just die instead. What America is telling the Iraqis ny this is that when Election Day comes, if it ever does, that they need to vote the way that America wants them to or else. Washington is acting like anyone in Iraq that opposes their policies is a terrorist, and in Al-Zawahiri's case, that is the truth, but it is not the truth in many other cases. There are many islamic Holy Men that would like to throw their hats into the political arena in a new Iraq, but not necessarily as puppets of Washington. They have their own ideas about how things should go, and their ideas are not always the same as America's. So if they got into politics and ran in the elections, if they won, they would not necessarily work with America like puppets on a string, and Washington does not like that idea at all. They want all of Iraq to meekly bow before them and their wishes unequivocally, and will tolerate nothing else. They know that these elections in January are nothing more than a sham and a show, that they are just ways to install the puppet government that America wants in Iraq, and that the Iraqi people need to wise up to this as well. So they are going to storm into Fallujah and kill as many opposition people as they can and show everyone else in Iraq that you can only do what America wants, if you try otherwise, you shall be killed. If people thought that George W. Bush was using intimidation tactics in the Presidential campaign here in America, that was nothing compared to the intimidation that he plans to use in Iraq's elections. He just wants to scare and shock the Iraqi people into submission well before January, so when Election Day comes, they will vote as Washington wishes and no other way.

However, this tactic is fraught with problems, mainly the assumption that America can just blast into Fallujah and take everyone that hates them out. These dudes that Al-Zawahiri has with him may be mindless lackeys, but they are also a formidable fighting force, just the fact that America has to resort to these measures to try and take Fallujah is testament to that. Washington also knows that these insurgents are not going to try and fight them matching military strength to military strength, not "fighting like warriors" as one American General put it, but they will wage an urban warfare battle, and not the kind of urban warfare that the likes of Jay-Z or 50 cent rap about either. This will be fighting that goes street by street, block by block, and even house by house after a while, it will be slow, bloody progress if any at all. There are rumors that there are several thousand suicide bombers among Al-Zawahiri's men and that they will be used a human bombs against the Americans and this is most likely true, as Al-Zawahiri does not give a fuck about what happens to these fighters of his, he would rather have them killed by America than captured, because that way he can spout all this bullshit to the masses about how they are martyrs that died for the cause and shit and have new suckers take him up on his offer of following in their footsteps, and if they were captured, America would have the chance to show not only them what a bullshitter that Al-Zawahiri is, but all those other potential recruits as well, so his fighters are better off dead than captured as far as he is concerned. Sop he is probably encouraging them to be suicide bombers and shit, because he knows that sort of thing horrifies the West and that if he manages to take out a lot of American soldiers this way, that he can change the public's perception of the war back in America and make things rough on Washington. So he is hell-bent on making this offensive the bloodiest one that America has been in for decades on both sides, he wants casualties out the ass here. He knows this is his only chance to do anything against America, as he is outgunned and outmanned, but he does have the home-field advantage here. He will take full advantage of that and America is not about to have the easy time that some have predicted with this offensive, nowhere near as easy as it was getting into Fallujah, because Al Zawahiri wanted them in there anyway. However, once the Americans get to his neighborhood, they will see that it is not Mr. Roger's Neighborhood that they are in, they should see that they are going to be in for the fight of their lives. These are not Saddam's demoralized troops that they are fighting now, dudes that would rather quit in droves than fight, these are people utterly brainwashed by Al-Zawahiri that will do anything for the guy. They live by that old advertising slogan that was used to sell cigarettes here in America back when I was a kid, they would rather fight than switch (Tareyton Cigarettes I believe). Blood will flow and bodies shall burn for a long time to come as this Fallujah offensive continues and America better start to get ready to hear all about it ,or at least hear about it as much as Washington lets their lackeys in the American media tell anyone.

If it not successful, and the elections have to be postponed due to ongoing violence, Washington is going to be very, very, very pissed off over that. They are pissed off enough already as it is, and getting them ever madder would not be a good thing for Iraq. For America looks at this like even if they do not succeed in getting Al-Zawahiri and his men, that they have destroyed Fallujah and made it into a pile of rubble, and good luck doing much with that. This is nothing more than a temper tantrum from Washington, destroying everything if they cannot get their way all the time. This is the other message that they are sending the Iraqi people, that if they continue to resist them, that America will just blast all of Iraq into nothingness, because if they cannot control things over there, no one can, and they will just leave nothing left to control for anyone. That shows that America is nothing close to the liberators and friends that they said that they were to the Iraqis, that they are nothing more than conquerors that will ruin everything if they cannot have it all for themselves. America does not give a fuck about Iraq anyway, they do not care abou tthe cities and the citizens, they consider it all a pain on the ass anyway, all they are concerned about is getting that oil money, and they can do that much more easily if they basically destroy everything and kill everyone in Iraq, that way they can get the oil money and not have those pesky Iraqi people to worry about. America cares not whether Fallujah or Baghdad or Mosul stand or are destroyed, that oil will still be in those vast pools underneath the surface and they can tap that by themselves, They don't need a country to do that anyway. What they are about to do to Fallujah is telling the Iraqi people this in no uncertain terms, and that is what they are really trying to accomplish here, this all has zero to do with the elections in January. America has become every bit as much of a strongman ruler in Iraq as Saddam was, even more so actually, and they are showing the Iraqi people this at Fallujah. That is not one of the huger cities in Iraq anyway, it is just some Muslim Holy City, and America has no respect for any Muslim Holy shit of any kind, so it is a perfect place to blast into ruins to show everyone that they mean business now. They would prefer not to have to do this in places like Baghdad or Qom or Mosul, but they will if they have to, and they are going to show everyone this at Fallujah. Washington Is primarily concerned with putting on a show of force for everyone on Earth to see and note that America is still the strongest one on the planet and that no one had better ever challenge that again or else. This message is not only for Al-Zawahiri and the Muslim terrorists, but for the Commies and the Fascists and the Anarchists and any other weirdos that would like to challenge America's world supremacy. Washington wants everyone to see in a very graphic way just how strong America is militarily and what they will do with that strength if they feel that they need to. These poor fuckers in Fallujah are nothing more than guinea pigs for America's dreams of world conquest and domination. Al-Zawahiri knows that too, he is every bit as crass as washington about it, he does not care about the loss of life and the horrors that are sure to come out of this offensive, he just hates America and is going to make other innocent fools die for it. This whole Fallujah thing is just one big sick fucked-up show where megalomaniacs try and show everyone just how big and bad they are. It Is just another example of the sheer madness of war and why nothing good ever comes of it. No one shall win here, America shall have to destroy a city and kill thousands to make their point, and Al-Zawahiri will send countless dudes to their deaths for no reason at all. It is just some kind of macabre pissing contest between Al-Zawahiri and Washington where the rest of the people of the world are the ones that get pissed on. There is no reason or sanity here, despite what Washington says. It is all just the latest move in a grotesque fuckin' game that madmen play with one another. This will just escalate things more and lead to more madness and killing and nothing positive can possibly come out of it all. No sham elections or puppet governments can hide the fact that this bullshit threatens to destroy mankind as a whole if it is left unchecked like this for much longer. What will come out of the Fallujah offensive is anyone's guess, but rest assured that it will horrible for mankind, driving ever deeper wedges between himself and ruining everything for everyone except for an elite few. This is sure to be yet another shameful chapter in the annals of war, and the question is whether or not this will be the most shameful one of all or not. No matter what, things will be worse after this Fallujah offensive, not just in Iraq, but everywhere in the world, and there is no glory or honor or bravery in that, no matter what Washington or anyone else might say to the contrary.
