November 7, 2008- Round Two Begins

Now that Barack Obama has fulfilled his lifelong obsession and gotten himself elected President, the accolades have still not stopped pouring in from all corners of the world. Oprah Winfrey may have evenb had her first orgasm Tuesday night in Grant park, she was so thrilled, and Hollywood is as ecstatic as they have ever been over this obama victory, mnany have not stopped partying in celebration of it yet. And the American media, oh boy, have they been gloating over ths victory in non-stop fashion, there is nowhere that you can look in America, and especially here in Chicago, where you are not seeing Barack Hussein Obama. The dude is fucking everywhere, just like they say God is, even in th esports section of the newspaper you see his face and they talk about him, but not just talk mind you, they are involved in a case of deep and serious worshipping of the man, it seems to be a contest of who can praise him more extensively, as the media will not stop praising and revering the man and constantly going on and on and on about how he will change the world and so on and so forth. America is in the midst of a lovefest not seen since 1967 or so, as every corner of the country seems to be lining up to pay proper homage to the new savior that takes office next January. However, America is not alone in this effusive worship and praise for Obama, it is actually pouring in from every corner of the world as well. In Kenya, they have had a holiday type period all week long, and Europe is also pissing their pants for joy over Obama's election. Every member of the European Union has said how great this all is and how it is going to be a new era for them all, man, they fucking love the fact that Obama won. Even countries that are not exactly friendly to the USA have said that they think that this is a good thing too, Hugo Chavez down in Venezuela went on national TV there and did something other than compare America to Satan and shit for the first time in years, he actually said that he liked the fact that Obama won and that he looked forward with working with him to try and resolve some of the issues between the two countries, talk that has been unheard of during the Bush Administration. Somebody that represented Cuba said that they too, wish to work along with Obama to resolve problems, and even China expressed interest in working alongside a new Obama Administration. It seems that the only people that are not thrilled with Obama's victory are the likes of the Taliban and Al-Queda, they have said that they did not give a fuck who won the election, and said that they'd only like Obama is he stops the war right away and sends the troops home, but since these are the types that America is at war with, that would be expected. Other than that, it seems that the only people that are genuinely upset over Obama's victory are right here in America, namely, the conservatives, who are saying that this is a dark day for America and a disaster and are flying their flags upside-down in the distress mode as a symbol of protest and  are generally freaking out over this. Howewver, they have been swept way under the rug in favot of the lovefest that we are seeing endlessly, becaause the Obama people are trying very hard to mnake it seem as if the whole world loves this election result, and that Obama is indeed the Savior and Messiah that they have made him out to be, a man that can singlehandedly bring  a fractured world together as one. However, there is one big-ass fly in that ointment, because the fact is that not everyone on earth is thrilled to death about Obama's victory, there is one very big voice missing from that endless wail of adulation.

Just hors after Obama was deeclared the winner, actualy that same night American time, the President of Russia, Dimitri Medvedev, went and made his first State of The Union address since being elected President last year. Now, just the timing of this address alone was curious, because the Russians knew full well what was going to take place that day, that a new American President would be chosen and that it would most likely be Obama, and that this story was going to be the number one headline all across the world, even in Russia, and that it would be a really bad time to try and make an important address, your first one as head of a nuclear superpower, because no one would much be paying attention to you, even in your own country, because they would be watching what was happening in America. You would think that if you were Medvedev, he would want to wait to make that address until he was able to have the world media spotlight shining on him, because he would want the whole world to hear what he had to say, because a lot of this address was concerning Russia's relationships with the rest of the world. So scehduling it for the same day as Obama's victory looks like one of the old vodka-soaked CCCP type decisions, but that was a closed society, Russia is not, so you wonder why Medvedev made the decison to do it when he did, but once you heard what he had to say, you understood why. Far from joining the other world leaders in congratulating Obaam on his victory and saying how much they looked forward to working with him, Medvedev went off on the USA for most of that address. He went on about how the financial problems that started on Wall Street have dragged the rest of the world down with it, and Russia has indeed been hit very hard by the current financial crises and basically said that America was wrecking the whole world with this shit. Then, he really started going off about the American war machine and such, and said that Russia was not going to stand idly by and let America place missiles wherever they want anymore, that they were going to place missiles too, and place them between Lithuania and Poland, I believe, basically, on the doorsteps of the expanded NATO. He also went off about that nee NATO, saying that it was bullshit and American interference in other countries affairs and saying that Russia intended to stand up to that. There did not seem to be very much about the actual state of the union in Russia in Medvedev's speech, he spent all his time talking shit about America and Obama, on a day where the rest of the world was heaping praise upon them both. That was why he scehduled that speech for the hours after an Obama victory, becaasue he was not going to talk much about Russia, but about America and Obama, specifically, throwning down the gauntlet to Obama and saying that he was ready to fight the dude at any time. He never once congratulated Obama on winning, he just flat-out challenged the dude literally minutes after he was elected, showing that he was not one of these leaders that wanted to play nice and be friends with Obama at all. He was obviously so obsessed with that idea that he went on TV just hours after the Obama victory to call the dude out and show him that he has one big, bad enemy waiting for him already. He knew that if he did that, the world media would pay attention, and they did, and in the end, he probably got more attention for what he said than if he had scheduled it for another day when there were no monumental happenings in America to overshadow it. So this must be very important to Russia, and it is, because it is not what they wanted at all.

They did not want Obama elected in the worst way because they knew that the dude was going to be really bad for business for them , while Mc Cain was going to be a boon for business there. The Cold Warrior image thatMc Cain had was one big reason for him being Russia's choice, because that shit keeps industries running over there, but there were far more important ones at steke here. To begin with, Russia did not want Joe Biden being the Vice-President, they would much rather have had Sarah Palin, because Palin looked at Russia as her neighbors, while Biden is a Cold War veteran with much experience at that, he was always on the frontlines of the first Cold War as much as possible, and has never softened his attitudes against Russia , he still regards them as the "Evil Empire." The Kremlin does not want to have to deal with someone that has that attitude being second in command in America, that fabled heartbeat away from the Presidency because if that heartbeat does come to pass, they don't want another Ronald Reagan type running America. Now that Obama has been elected, Russia needs to hope that his heart keeps beating just fine for the next four years, but they know that he has a solid Cold Warrior in his ear all the time, and that does not bode well for them. However, they know that Obama is not some sick old man that is likely to die before his term ends, so Biden looks to be nothing more than just a major pain in the ass for Russia, so he is not the main issue pissing them off so. That issue has to do with money, and lots of it to boot, namely, the money that the European Union has to throw around, and that is a considerable sum indeed. The EU has always wanted to be with America, but the Bush Administration has made that very hard for them to do, because their foreign policies have been very contradictory to the interests of the EU member states ever since they came into office. Bush has made America hated, scorned, and reviled in places that always revered them in the past, because the people there see Bush as the most reckless warmonger going, a dude that has fucked the world up no end. That has meant that they have told their leaders that they do not want to be associated with America any longer because they hate Bush that much. There is a lot of money in that relationship, and Russia has seen that and acted accordingly. They have stepped in and told the EU that they can do business with them, get their oil and gas and shit from them instead of from America, and the EU has been going for that these last few years, and helped resurrect Russia in the process. Obama's election completely wrecks that for Russia, because the EU is so madly in love with Obama that they are going to fall all over themselves to do business with America again, and try to model themselves after America again, and that means that Russia is out in the cold here, and they don't like that one bit. Obama  has stolen massive business away from them at a time where they need it the most, and they are fucking pissed off at him about that, and that was why Medvedev made that speech about planting missiles near NATO and the like. He did challenge Obama to a fight, because Russia sees it as a fight over all that EU Money, they do not want to give up the gains that they have made over the Bush years and if Obama want to get that money he is going to have to come and take it forcefully because it is not going to be given up easily. That is what Medvedev said in that speech the other day, the one  disguised at a State Of The Union Speech.

What that means is that Round Two of the Cold War is on, and on big fucking time. No mater what happened back in the 1980's and such, the fact is that the rivalry between the Eastern Christian culture (represented by Russia) and the Western Christian culture (represented by America) is never going to stop, that precedes America and such by centuries and is an outgrowth of the old schism between the ancient Greek and Roman cultures. The Cold War of the 20th century was just one manifestation of that rivalry, and it was sure to rise up again sooner or later in the 21st, and here it is again. Back in the day, the USSR was able to rival America as a superpower, and Washington would like to make sure that this does not happen again, so that is where Obama comes in. In one fell swoop, he has screwed Russia out of immense sums of money and that has The Kremlin hopping mad. So they are showing Obama rigfht away that they are willing to go back to the tactic that they used before, that is, a Cold War standoff, where muchy of that money that America is stealing from them has to be used to defend themselves instead of ending up in Mr. Businessman's pockets right off. Besides that, taking this tactic right away ensures that Russia gets to keep more of that money that they have by making it harder for America to take it away. Of course, this is exactly what The Establishment had in mind, they saw that Russia was resurgent and able to not only rival America again, but to surpass it, and they had to put a stop to that, and Barack Obama is their man. He wil slow the Russian express down considerably, sidetracking it constantly, and that means that they cannot grow ever more powerful at the rate that they have been during the Bush years. Washington wants to keep Russia down until after they have conquered all that they want to conquer in the War On Terror, and if Mc Cain was President, going off all hawkishly and continuing to freak the EU out with his words and deeds, that cannot be done, and the War On Terror would have had to be abandoned in Favor of Cold War Round Two, and that was not in the plans. This way, Washington ties Russia up in fighting a Cold War, and they cannot possibly surpass America, exactly the same formula that worked so well for America during the Cold War Round One. It is an easier task this time around too, because the entity of Russia is not anywhere near as large as the entity of the USSR was, so you are fighting a smaller enemy. Just like in Round One, the objective is not really to beat Russia, but just make sure that they are so tied up in fighting the thing that they cannot steamroll past you. Russia is just as up for this as well, even though they know the score, that they are smaller and such, but they benefited out of the Cold War Round One in as much as they were not destroyed and wiped out like most war losers are, they just had to re-group and find another tactic and that is what they have done, and they know that America is going tohave expend considerable time and energy on fighting this next round as well, so that wil slow down the losses for Russia and give tghem tine to find yet another strategy to use in this never-ending battle. However, that should take ten years at least, and Obama will not be President then, so then some other person wil be chosen to lead the battle into Round Three, but for now, Obama is the man that is taking America into Round Two with a big advantage, and his job here is to make sure that when Round Two is over, that America still has that advantage that they had going into it, maybe even a larger one. The Establishment obviously feels that Obama is the man for the job, otherwise he would never have been able to get it, and this situation with Russia is a large part of why Obama was elected President, a way larger part of it than Oprah Winfrey and her Hollywood pals were, despite what they want you to think.
