What that usually consists of is the fact that many people truly believe in the "fact" that there is some sort of Higher Power at work somewhere in theirs and others lives. Whenever you listen to Miss Cleo or any of those others, you will always hear them refer to that sort of thing often. They do everything that they can to try to tie themselves in with that Higher Power. They make claims that this Power was what gave them the "gifts" that they are so hell-bent to share with you, for a fee of course. They claim that they are tuned in with this Power and have knowledge of what it is really all about. They have their medium to do so ,whether it's a crystal ball or tarot cards or numbers or whatever, this is what gives them that inside line with the Power. That's the shit that people fall for. However, it's something else that they are using to their advantage here, the powers of common sense and reason. Whenever you call these people, you never get to speak to Miss Cleo or whoever, she's always in a trance somewhere. However, you get to speak with someone that was taken under her wing and shown all the great powers that are going to be shared with you, for a fee of course. These "great powers' always consist of the "psychic" asking leading questions of the caller. They have a card in front of them that instructs them in how to ask broadly based questions that answer nothing and at the same time boomerang questions right back to the caller. "Who's that dark haired girl?" and "Who has that dark colored car that I'm seeing?" are some of the "answers" that these fuckers give you. Questions that are based on pure statistical facts. Virtually everyone knows a dark haired girl or a dark colored car, there are countless ones throughout the nation. But the dumbshit callers get all excited and say, "Yes I know that!! That is ..." and fill the "psychic right in on the information that they need to know. That gets the ball rolling. Then the fraud just starts to ask more leading questions from their cheat sheet to find out what this sap is after. Once they find out what subject is the one that the caller wants information on, they start to ask more leading questions along that subject until they get the caller to basically tell them the entire story that they wanted told to them in the first place. Then they give some broad based "advice" that says nothing and would make a Dear Abby answer look like a scientific dissertation, and the caller is flabbergasted. So much so that they get them to record a testimonial about how great this shit really was and how it helped them so. Then the caller goes and tries what they were told and realizes that it was nothing more than generalized bullshit that did them no good at all. That is the great gift that they wish to share with you, for a fee of course. They get that fee and they are sitting pretty, and the caller is out the money and gets nothing. Or do they? Because the shit that they say is so generalized, many times people see shit happen in their lives after talking to these types that they are sure happened because of them. Like they were given "lucky numbers' for a lottery, and lo and behold, they won something. Never mind the laws of probability and chance that govern such things, this is because of Miss Cleo they think. So they come back for more. Every so often, they' re thrown a bone or two like a little lottery winning, and they keep right on coming back, like a pack of sick mongrel stray dogs. These sad fucks are the bread and butter of Miss Cleo and her cohorts. She gets rich, though not so much so that she can get that fuckin' gap between her front teeth fixed and her overbite corrected. There are more important things, I guess.
If America is really the greatest society ever, how can these types clean up like they do? Are the American people that stupid? No, not really. What it all hinges on is what Miss Cleo and her types try to closely associate themselves with. You see, they have no monopoly on this type of thinking, the theory that Higher Powers are at work in life. No, that is something that most Americans see long before they become familiar with Miss Cleo, something that they pick up at their local house of worship.Every religion that there is says basically the same thing as the psychics do, that a Higher Power is behind everything. In the Judeo Christian philosophy, they call that God. It is also no secret that Miss Cleo and all her cohorts also try to associate themselves closely with God in America. He is usually the Higher Power that they have received their "gift" from. He is the one that they are in touch with through their tarot cars or crystal ball or whatever. The name of God is invoked by psychics as much as it is by Holy Men. This is no coincidence. The entire religious thing is always called something that you accept on "faith". The psychics say that you need the same to understand them. Religions are all based around the theory that God is the center of everything, and all comes from Him. All those bogus psychics always say that they are not the true miracle worker, but that God is and they are just a conduit to Him. The only difference between the two is how they tell you to go about communing with this God character. The Holy Men tell you to come to their houses of worship and do this, for a voluntary fee of course, and the psychics tell you to come to them and do it, for a mandatory fee of course. The Holy Men tell you that you need to do this communing with God by praying and obeying the Bible and shit and using them (the Holy men) and the worship house as your conduit to doing that. The psychic frauds tell you that conduit is through their cards or crystals or numbers. Either way, you are not being sold anything tangible at all. Everything is some sort of philosophical, spiritual, otherworldly type of shit whose results are never really something that you can point to as anything concrete. Everything is said in a very generalized way so that anything that happens in your life could be pointed to as being a result of this philosophy, no matter whose it is. The fact is that religious philosophy and the shit that Miss Cleo and her types sell are very, very much alike. In fact , they seem like two heads of the same beast at times. So what's the difference between them?
The difference is that the psychics did not have the "luxury" of having shit like the Inquisition and the Crusades used on their behalf to spread their philosophy like the philosophy of Christ did. The minions of Jesus did all sorts of horrors and atrocities to spread their philosophy throughout the world. That is the main way that Christianity got to be as big and widespread as it did, it had nothing to do with the philosophy itself, it had to do with the inhuman brutalities committed by those that were determined to spread it and would not take no for an answer at any cost. Whether people wanted to believe that there was indeed a Higher Power and He had a son named Jesus that was the Messiah or not was not the issue. They were brutally suppressed and oppressed in any and all ways that could be though of until they either did say that they believed it or else they died. That is the only way that Christianity became a major world religion. Every other major world religion did basically the same thing in some way or another to get to their position in the world too. The psychics and those types didn't have anyone to do that shit on their behalf. They were part of the population that was subjugated by the Christians or whoever. They said that they believed, but they did not. They saw what was happening as a way to spread their shit to the masses. All they had to do was to try and associate themselves with it and not make themselves out to be anything different or better than the dominant religion where they were and they could tag along. Oh the Church hated this shit at first to be sure. They rooted out the Miss Cleos of the past and ruthlessly made examples out of them by using the same sort of tactics that got them to where they were in the first place. This still didn't stamp that shit out, though. It went underground ( not The Master's Underground, please!) and waited until the climate got better for them. Once the Church realized that they had their position secured and that they didn't have to kill anymore to spread it, they sent in the Holy Men to be spin doctors and convince everyone that they were part of the Christian fold because they were adhering to a philosophy that was based on "love" and "kindness" and "spirituality" rather than the fact that they were adherents because they were Terrorized into it by atrocities and bloodshed and killing. This enabled the psychics to come out and attach themselves to the religious dogma and make their bullshit seem like it was a part of that same great philosophy. The Church still did not approve of them, but they would not kill them for it now, and that was all that they needed. To intertwine themselves with Christianity and Jesus and God became the best business move that they ever made.
Modern day America prides itself on being a church going Christian country where the people adhere to the precepts of Christianity and all that shit. The President says that shit all the time. Most of the American people will identify themselves with that sort of thing. They say that God and religious shit is the centerpiece of their lives. Since the centerpiece of religious philosophy and the centerpiece of psychic philosophy are so similar, it is no wonder that the lies of Miss Cleo and her Psychic Fraud Friends are so prevalent (and rich) in America today. Since Americans in a large way say that they truly believe in the Higher Power as the center of everything shit, they leave the door wide open for Miss Cleo and her types to come in and do exactly what they are doing. They prey on that mentality just like the Holy Men do, just in a slightly different way. It is said that psychic shit is an invention of man and religion is something that comes from God, but they are just too closely aligned for that to be true. Either God made them both, or man did. I think that it's pretty obvious who did. Miss Cleo and her types are just more open about being a creation of man than religion is.But the fact that they tag along on the waves of adherents that religion has proves that they must both have been created by man. For if religion was indeed a thing from God, there would be no room for the psychics to tag along at all, things would be too different between the two. The fact that they are so similar that this can happen means that man has created them both for his own purposes. His fingerprints are all over both of them. They both prey on the same thing. The results are too much alike. The methods are only slightly different. Yes, psychic fraud shit and any religious shit are man's creations, and that is why they both fuckin' suck doggie dicks.
