October 29, 2008- Spiteful Pettiness

Last week, we had a movie released about George W. Bush. Why the fuck Oliver Stone decided to do this other than to rake in money hand over fist is unknown, but the movie was made and released anyway. It purports to tell the story of George W. Bush, of how he got to the top and what he did once he arrived there, and as always, Stone takes many Hollywood liberties with the subject matter, if he did not, it would not be Hollywood. This movie already has people bickering over its portrayal of Bush and how he is going to be remembered by history, a debate that shall surely rage for decades. No matter what Oliver Stone might think, the life of George W. Bush has been a uniquely American one indeed, one that could only be lived in a rich a powerful family. It is well known that Bush did not exactly work his fingers to the bone to get to the top, that he had the skids greased for him big-time, because people had plans for that boy. The plans were all about enriching and empowering themselves using George W. Bush, because the dude was the perfect tool. He came from a very well connected and powerful family, with a father that was once President of the USA himself, and the head of the CIA as well, so George W. did not have to worry much about trivial shit like school and all, he had careers awaiting him no matter what he did. He took advantage of that as well, to the hilt in fact, carrying on however he pleased and getting ahead despite it all. Every time he got in trouble, someone came to bail him out , so there were no consequences for him in life. It did not matter, as he was still the perfect stooge for those special interests, so they allowed him to climb that ladder higher and higher, first in the Texas Governor's mansion, and then into the White House for eight long years. The only thing that Bush has had to do throughout his life was to poretend that he was part of something, say the Republican Party, while just being the obedient servant of his dad's assorted friends. He could not be elected President if he did not say that he belonged to one of the two major political parties in America, so he said that he was a Republican, even though he represented no one except those that controlled him. So we have had eight years of Bush saying that he is shit like a Republican and a Evangelical Christian when he is really no such thing, but he has had to use these organizations as vehicles with which to get ahead. In the last half of his Presidency, Bush has not made anything that he is associated with look particlarly good, but he has stuck with them nonetheless because they have been useful. He has to pretend that he is a politician and such to fool enough people into letting him continue with the charade for as long as he has, but his association with the Republican Party has been the worst association that Party has had since Richard Nixon. In 2006, that led to a massive  nationwide backlash against the Republicans that resulted in the Democrats getting control of Congress, yet the Republican Party stood behind Bush, even when the rest of America turned against him. They knew that they were stuck with him whether they liked it or not, so they have made the best of it these last few years, knowing that he was not going to be around forever, despite what conspiracy theorists may have thought, because they knew that once he retired, they could distance themselves from him and try and get on with things. That time has come a long time ago and is in high gear right now, and will come to a head in less than a week with the Presidential elections.

Everyone knows that the Republicans are facing a major uphill battle next week as well, that John Mc Cain is not being given much of a chance to win by anyone, and that he knows that better than anyone. However, he has to be a brave soldier and put on a game face until he is officially defeated next Tuesday evening by all accounts. Mc Cain had a big enough hill to climb against the wildly charismatic Obama, but he seemed to be starting to do so last summer, especially after he made Sarah Palin his Vice-Presidential running mate, and then the Obama landslide did not seem so sure. People were starting to forget that Mc cain was the dude running from the party of Bush and started to listen to what he had to say as a candidate and started to see that he was not quite what Bush was. So the race started getting a bit tight there at the end of the summer, but then George W. Bush stepped in and created another one of his signature catastrophes. One after another, all of the corporate people that had greased the skids for Bush and helped him along started going under financially, and that was fucking the American economy up no end. In a matter of days, shit went from bad to worse, and America was suddenly in a bad situation and Bush has fucked the people over once again. His solution to all of this was to just give all his corporate mentors all the money that they needed to get themselves out of trouble, and that was in the billions of dollars, and that shit set America off against George W. Bush for the final time. Any support that he may still have had in America vanished overnight, and Bush's approval rating slipped below that of Nixon's during the Watergate scandal. Needless to say, that has out an end to any hopes that John Mc Cain and Sarah Palin may have had of winning this election, or even even making a good showing in it, because Americans are more pissed off than they have ever been, and they are pissed off at Bush for doing all of this, and the end result is that George Washington or Abraham Lincoln could come back from the dead and run as the Republican standard bearer in 2008, and even they would not stand a chance against Obama, because the people are that pissed off at the Republicans. There is nothing that Mc Cain can say that will even begin to appease the people that lost tens of thousands of dollars in like days, and all that Americans see him as now is a Republican, the same Party that brought all this shit to pass and no tax plans that he may have or any cute chick Vice-President is enough to make Americans forget which party George Bush is affiliated with and since Mc Cain is representing that Party in the elections next week, he has virtually no chance anymore because of this whole financial crisis. Yes, he was partly responsible for it by being in the pockets of Mr. Businessman himself, but the main culprits here are all Bush people, the ones that helped that guy along when he was utterly unqualified to be where he was, and Mc Cain is going to have to pay the price for that, as well as many other Republican candidates across America are next week, just because they are of the same Party as Bush, they are going to be voted against by millions of Americans, so the election is starting to look like about as crushing a defeat for the Republicans as there can be in a Presidential Election, so Bush seems to be totally fucking over the political Party that helped get him to where he is now, on the cusp of being a retired President.

The truth of it all is that George W. Bush and John Mc Cain do not get along at all politically and never have. Yes, they stand together in shows of Party unity, but every politician does that with members of his own Party. The reality is that they have been political enemies for a long time now, Mc Cain even ran against Bush in the Republican primaries in 2000, so the two have never been fond of one another. That is why Bush did not care that much about unleashing the financial crisis just weeks before the election, why he did nothing to delay it until after it, because he does not like John Mc Cain and does not want to see him take over his job next year. The two have had many a name calling festival over the years, and Bush is just calling Mc Cain the last name inthe fight, and that would be loser. He knows that this is Mc Cain's last hurrah, that he'll never be able to run on a national level for shit again, while he gets to retire on the taxpayer's dime for the rest of his life as a retired two-term President. Bush has never lost an election for anything, while Mc Cain is going to go out a loser in what could be his last campaign ever. Bush wants to lord that fact over Mc Cain as much as he can, and what better way to ensure that he would get that chance than to wreck the American economy just weeks before the election? Bush cares not what Mc Cain may think, he'll never have to oeal with the dude again in a few weeks, so he thinks that it is funny that he is sending the guy out to pasture that way. That will show Mc Cain who he was messing with when he went aganst Bush all those times and that is the mentality that Bush has about all of this. His pomposity also comes into play here,as Bush seems to want to personally pick the person that succeeds him, and Mc Cain is definetly not that person. Bush seems to like the idea od Obama succeeding him, despite the Party differences, because that ensures George W. Bush a place in history, because there would have been 43 consecutive white male Presidents before Obama came along, and Bush is the 43rd one of those. History will always divide things into the pre-and post-Obama Americas and Presidencies, so Bush has got his name permanently tied into Obama's as the guy that he took over for. No matter how much historians may savage George W. Bush for what he did as President, he will always have that unalterable historical note about him, and therefore, have a unique place among all the Presidents ever. Having John Mc Cain succeed him would not mean shit, and Bush could them get lost ion the shuffle of history, and he does not want that ever,  and apparently September 11th, 2001 is not enough to keep Bush in history forever, so being succeeded by Obama is a sure ticket to that. So that would be another reason for Bush to want to fuck Mc Cain over and wreck the election for him like he has done. But what of all those other Republican candidates running for Senate and Governorships and Mayorships and shit like that across America that are also doomed to lose the election just because of what Bush did with the economy, people that have never even met Bush in their lives and only belong to his Party because they had to choose from one of two to belong to andnow are destined to lose because of that Party affiliation?  Bush is taking all of them down the tubes as well as Mc Cain, turning Election Day into a disaster for the Republican Party. That is the farewell gift that Bush is giving the political Partuy that accepted his unqualified ass and helped him rise to the top, he is singlehandedly destroying them as he leaves.

That is because those businessmen and politicians that created George W. Bush forgot one important thing about what they were teaching him, that the attitude of not caring about anyone but yourself was going to come back to bite them in a big way and it is doing that right now. Once Bush retires, he is of no forther use to those that manipulated and controlled him, so he no longer has to have any loyalty to themat all. He no longer needs the Republican party, hell, he may never even vote again once he retires, so he does not give a fuck what he does to it at all, despite what it did for him. He has a guaranteed retirement awaiting him, and no one is going to have any power over him anymore. That means that he is free to just take his considerable share of the lot that he and his people stole, and ignore those that helped him get to that pinnacle that he was at. He knows that they have no further use for him, so he has no further use for them either as far as he is concerned. He does not care if the Republican Party goes out of business, he would probably like that, because then he would be the last Republican President and have another unalterable place in history. All that he wanted to do was to fuck someone over that had been a problem to him during his political career, and that would be John Mc Cain, and he put that personal vendetta before the interests of the people that helped make him. That last spiteful act of pettiness is how Bush is thanking the Republican Party for all their help over the years. If some other minor candidates have to be ruined forever by all this as well as Mc Cain, so be it says Bush, he does not care about them either. Bush learned very well from his teachers along the way, far better than they ever knew, because he cared nothing about them just like they cared nothing about him, and he has gone and taken that attitude that they imbued in him and given it back to them and is now fucking many of them over and not caring a bit about it. Those that taught him to be that way forgot that one day if the plan worked out, Bush would be looking at retirement and no longer had to listen to them and could treat them like shit, and that is what has come to pass for the Republican Party this election. People in that organization treated Bush like shit and fought with him amd opposed him and gave him problems, so now he is fucking that entire organization over as badly as he can, settling old, petty political scores for the sake of his fucking ego. There is nothing that the Republicans can do about this either, they have to sit back and deal with the disaster that this guy has left them  and it will probably take them years to recover, a minimum of eight Obama years at the least. However, that is not Bush's concern, because he will be spending those eight Obama years in luxurious retirement having a high old time. The rest of the Republicans that are not so fortunate to be going into a similar situation are going to have to try and fix what Bush has wrecked so badly, and that is what they get for helping a guy like Buish get ahead like they did, they had to know that he was eminently capable of doing something like this if he was put in the position, and now they are paying the price for that, a price that they are going to have to continue to pay for years to come, for that is what you get if you team up with a guy like George W. Bush, a guy that cares about no one else except himself and the Republicans and John Mc Cain are finding that out that hard way.
