October 23, 2008- No Change At All
The overwhelming theme behind the Obama
campaign this year is "Change." The biggest slogan that the campaign is
running out there is "Change That We Can Believe In". Everywhere
that Obama goes you see that shit plastered over everything and it is
on almost every campaign sign that the dude has so it is what they are
trying to burn into people's minds, that Obama is about change. That5
change suposedly starts with the obvious, the racil makeup of Barack
Obama, that he would be the first President in history that was not
totally white, and that represents change in and of itself, but the
Obama people are saying that the changes that he has in store for us
all go much farther than that, they shall change America entirely. The
campaign is having fabulous success with that idea, they are selling it
to the American people very well indeed, and that is about all that
Obama is saying now in these last few days, that he represents change.
He reminds us of that everywhere that he goes, while telling us that
this change that he represents is sorely needed in America because of
what George W. Bush has done these last eight years. According to
Obama, Bush has done everything from wreck the economy to fuck up
earth's entire ecosystem, in short, that the dude has been bad news.
That is not a lie at all, because it is true that Bush has been bad for
many things, but Obama sensationalizes it all to the point of being
downright silly at times. That is because many of the things that Bush
has done are not things that are uniquely his, they are things that The
Establishment has done for a very long time now to keep their place in
society, George W. Bush just refined these techniques to the extreme.
It takes an awful lot of people to wreck an economy like America's has
been wrecked lately, one man just cannot do it, but in an
election year, financial hardships mean job hardships to politicians.
However, there has been one aspect of things that the Bush
Administration has excelled at more than others, and that has been
fearmongering. They have gotten what they want by doing that from the
beginning, and they have succeeded at it beyond anyone's expectations.
Using the terror that was spread on September 11th, 2001, the Bush
Admijmnistration has scared the shit out of the populace ever since and
gotten them to say and do and believe in things that they otherwise
never would. Fear was the overwhelming force behind the rush to go to
war in Iraq, fear that another terrorist attack was imminent, and fear
is what has been keeping an increasingly unpopular war going for years
now, with no end in sight. Fear is how the Bush Administration has kept
the people in line, kept them from criticizing or questioning antything
that the Administration did or said, and fear has made Bush and his
people an awful lot of money, set them all up for life. According to
Obama, that fear has fucked America up something awful, and it is one
of the biggest things that needs to be changed. So you would think that
when Obama prattles on and on and on about change, that this
fearmongering shit would be one of the main things that he is talking
about. He claims to be so different and straighforward and such, that
there wouyld be no need for fearmongering by him or his Administration,
that they are of the belief that the truth shall overcome all, so there
would no longer be any need to scare the shit out of everyone time and
time again like Bush has done these last eight years. The problem is
that Obama talks a good game, but talk is cheap, and his running mate,
Joe Biden, proved that the other day in one of his campaign stops on
Obama's behalf.
When Biden has been campaigning for Obama, the main point
that he tries to make is that Obama is indeed properly qualified to be
President, that those that say that he is not are full of shit, and that
the man is going to be exceptional at the job of being President. Every
day this seems to be a harder thing for Biden to do instead of an
easier one, because Obama never really goes out and proves that this is
the case at all, he just has the attitude of it is so because he says
it is so. He cannot prove it because he has never really done anything
in his fucking life except run for President, so outside of campaigning
and such, he has not had muich experience at anything else. He has
never bothered to do much at any elected offices that he has held,
because to him they all have been mere stepping stones to the White
House, so to say that Obama has no practical experience is not a
campaign smear, but the truth, and Joe Biden knows that. He also knows
that he wants to be Vice-President very badly, the highest-paying and
most important do-nothing job in America, so he has to make Obama out
to be as experienced as Jimi Hendrix was, that he is qualified to save
the world just like he says he will. To do that, he has had to bring
out the big guns, and strat making statement that defy credulity and
that also fit right into ther Obama as Messiah image that has been
created. So a few days ago, he went off in a campaign speech about how
Barack Obama just has to be ready and qualified to handle anything once
he gets elected becasue it is only going to be a matter of six
months or so before he gets tested by the world like JFK did with the
Cuban Missile Crisis. Biden used the term "a generated crisis" to
describe this scene that he is sure will be coming before 2009 is out.
He did not spoecify where exactly thsi crisis would be coming from,
instead he spoke of several places that it could start at, without
naming any specifically, but anyone with any sense knew that he was
referring to the problem spots of the world like the Middle East. The
point of bringing this all up was for Biden to reassure everyone that
once these crises happen, that Obama will be more than ready to handle
them, because he is indeed qualified and prepared to lead and be
President number 44. This argument is supposed to counter John Mc
Cain's argument about how his experience as an enlisted man and his
experiences as a Vietnam POW, plus his advanced age, make him far more
qualified to run America during wartime than someone that has never
even served in the military at all, something designed to make
Americans nervous about electing Obama to the White House in wartime
and wary of his lack of experience. That is powerful stuff to say in
times of war, andsince Obama does not have anything tangible to use to
counter that, Biden has taken it upon himself to start talking about
this imminent catastrophe that America is going to face once Obama
takes over. These statements have caused a bit of a stir, as they were
designed to, because up until now, the Obama camp has not said anything
at all about thinking that the bad guys of the world are laying in wait
for Obama to take over so that they can work out on his inexperienced
ass, this was totally new stuff when Biden brought it up, and it was
certainly not a brainchild of David Axelrod. Biden did something other
than show that his prospective boss was not an inexperienced newbie
that would be in way the fuck over his head if he is elected, but an
experienced statesman that could handle whatever the world threw at
him, he showed something about that change that Obama babbles on about
all the time.
What Biden did was to use fearmongering every bit as
shamelessly and blatantly as the Bush Administration ever has. They
took pages right out of their playbook with what they said and the way
that they said it. Biden referred to vague, shadowy threats just the
way that the Bush Administration has, raising the specter of the
boogeyman lurking in the shadows, waiting for the most opportune time
to strike, scaring the shit out of people just like Bush always has. In
fact, all that Biden did was to take the Bush playbook and extend it
into the prospedctive Obama years, making it seem lik ethe badguys of
the Bush Admijnistration that have been laying low for the last
few years, like bin Laden, and are just waiting for Obama to
become President so that they can take advantage of his perceived
inexperience so that they can finish the job that they started on
September 11th, 2001, and that is to destroy America. If that is not
classic fearmongering, I do not know what is. However, the Obama camp
seems to think that this tactic is necessary to counter Mc Cain's
arguments about inexperience. They have obviously seen how well
fearmoingering has worked for the Bush Administration these last eight
years and they want to try and use it to seal the deal this close to
the election. If Bush has been able to use it so deftly to not only get
himself elected twice but to make himself look like a big time warrior,
then it must be something that is useful in today's world, so the Obama
camp, never missing any opportunity, seems to have gone to
fearmongering to close the deal. If Biden wanted to paint Obama as an
experienced guy, he did not have to go painting some dire picture of
the evil hordes of the world jumping out of the shadows befiore 2009 is
over and trying to destroy Amerrica once and for all, hre could have
painted a pictuere of Obama as a statesman that would be able to avoid
such things through the strength of his character alone because he is
experienced enough dealing with people so he knows how to defuse
volatile and negative situations. Instead, we get a story about Obama
having to be a warrior superman just like Bush, fighting off the
terrorists because they think that he is weak. That is just a
continuation of what the Bush Administration has done the whole time,
paint the most dire of pictures all the time, and frame everything in
the most horrible of lights. There has always been another catastrophe
around the next corner in the Bush Administration, and that attitude of
keeping everyone in a constant state of panic has kept them in power
and in charge all the way to the maximum allowable limit, so the Obama
people have seen that and have decided to start using it now in their
campaign and later on, in their Administration, because it seems to
work today. No one has wquestioned anything that Biden said about all
of this, no one has asked why the terrorists will wait for Obama to
take office and shit before they strike instead of striking now at a
lame duck Administration that has very limited time left to adequately
fight them and trying to create an atmosphere of chaos as the
Presidential Administrations change in January. Instead, everyone is
now looking at a possible terrorist strike in 2009 and how Obama would
handle it, and since most Americans are being led to believe that Obama
is a sure winner in two weeks, everyone is going to be freaking out
over a possible attack rather than making intelligent choices when they
go to vote next month.
What this all shows is that an Obama Administration would
be no different than a Bush Administration because they would use the
same tactics to run everything, and fearmongering will be right up
there on the list, just like it has been with Bush. The only difference
seems to be that it is going to be delivered nicely and with a smiley
face, rather than with stark tones and stern faces. It wil be easy for
Obama to find some thing in the world and point to it as the example of
what Biden was talking about, ther test of his mettle, and no matter
how small a thing it is, the Obama people will blow it up into the
largest thing that America has ever seen or faced and scare the living
shit out of them once again and use that fear to prove whatever point
is was that they wanted to prove. Thi sis going to prove to be every
bit as successful for Obama as it has been for Bush, because Obama has
the American people hypnotized now, and they would never think that he
would use tactics like fearmingering on them, after all he is all about
change, so they'll be every bit as compliant for him as they were for
Bush and Obama shall succeed at fearmongering every bit as much as Bush
has. This shows that this change that Obama speaks of does not go any
farther than the racial thing I spoke of earlier, that he imntends to
keep right on doing the things that The Establishment has always done,
the things that they want him to do, and he has zero plans to rock the
boat, no matter what his stirring speeches say. If he was really about
change like he pretends to be, he would never have been allowed to get
this far in things, actually have a great chance to become President,
because only those that are firmly in the pocket of The Establishment
are allowed to get this far, and Barack Hussein Obama is no exception,
despite his claims to the contrary. He just looks and sounds different
than what America ius used to, and that is why he can position himself
as this agent for change and shit and have so many people believe that
bullshit. The changes that he will make in society shal be purely
cosmetic, they shall have no lasting impact on things, none at all. He
knows full well that using these same old tactics is how he has any
chance to be a retiring President like Bush is eight years from now,
and he will do anything to get that shit, even sell his soul to Satan,
so using freamongering tactics after deriding Bush endlessly for doing
the same thing is nothing, hell, that's politics. He only has to fool
the people into believing that change shit for twelve more days, and
that can be done blindfolded and with both hands tied behind one's
back, so that is why Biden was allowed to paint that stark scene and
start using fearmongering tactics, because an Obama Administration has
to gewt used to using these things sooner or later, and they might as
well start now, so that they are experienced and ready to do it just
like they said that they would be. However, that experience is going to
be in areas other than what the people think, the areas that tighten
and strenghten the control that The Establishment has over the ordinary
people, and by the time that the people figure that out, if they ever
do, it is going to be way too late because Obama will probably be well
on his way to his second and final term as President by then. Change is
just a campaign slogan to get Barack Obama into the White House for
what he hopes are eight years, it is not a reality of any kind, Obama
is going to be the same old shit in a different package, and the
miracles that he is promising the people are just not going to happen,
so that is why an Obama Administration is going to be a huge
disappointment, that and many other reasons.
