October 22, 2007- The Amalgamation
The other day, we had a serious incident
over in Pakistan, and no, it did not involve Osama bin Laden, it was an
assassination attempt on a former Pakistani Prime Minister. you do not
normally see these sort of things attempted on a former leader, because
they usually are no longer relevant once they leave office, but this
whole scene was more than it seemed. Washington has had a lot of
problems with the current Pakistani leader, that Musharraf dude,
msomeone that has always said he was an "ally" of America's. he has
said all this shit about how he is willing to help America in the War
On Terror, but he has been about as much help as a bicycle would be at
the bottom of the ocean. He said that if Washington forgave Pakistan's
debts to them and such, that he would do all that he possibly could to
help capture bin Laden and stop Al-queda. Well, he got the
debts forgiven, and has been of literally zero help in finding anyone,
much less bin Laden. Time and time again, it has become knows that bin
Laden was in Pakistan somewhere, at least in the mountains, if not in
the cities proper, and time and time again, Musharraf has done nothing
about it. Washington forgave that for a while, but by now they are sick
of it, not to mention that Pakistan is still every bit as much a haven
for Islamic terrorists as ever, so they have had about enough of this
guy. It has become stone obvious that he is in it for no one other than
himself and is playing Washington, and that is never a good thing to
do. Musharraf is a career military man, and like all military men, he
is a politician, and has been playing that to the hilt. Pakistan owed
America an awful lot of money and that was forgiven, and they have done
jackshit to earn that right, so Washington wants a change, only
Musharraf is not interested, or at least was not. Like every leader of
a Muslim land, he wants to be some kind of leader for life that answers
to no one and does exactly as he pleases, and is not helping America at
all, in fact, he is harming the war efforts. So Washington has made it
clear to him that they want him out, but he does not want to go.
Apparently he has no other talents except those as a military leader,
and there's not much of a job market for that. So, Washington has been
left with no other choice except to play a little political hardbal of
their own and try to either force Musharraf out ot at least make him
give up his military job, because that is what makes America so
nervous. They do not like military men in charge of much of any
country, let alone a Muslim one, and have made that clear to Musharraf.
What they have been saying to him is that they want him to either give
up being a General or being Prime Minister, one or the other. He has
said no way but Washington has been stepping up the pressure lately to
get him to do what they want. They want elections in Pakistan, but that
presents another set of problems, mainly what to do if some
Islamists win them. What America wants is a government in Pakistan that
is friendly and an ally to them not just in words and speeches, but in
real deeds and if Musharraf was voted out and the Islamists in,
that would be shot to hell. America is just stretched too thin to come
in and invade Pakistan and settle thjings that way, so they have been
in a quandry as to what to do here. They want things to change, but in
their way, not anyone else's. So they had to find another way to fuck
Pakistan up the way they want to, and that was where former
politicians come in.
Specifially, that would be one Benazir Bhutto, who has a
long history over in Pakistan. Not only was she the first woman to
govern a Muslim nation, she did it twice, and was controversial the
whole time. The problem was that she and her government were
seriously corrupt, so much so that they really fucked the whole
country up. Cronyism and payoffs were the orders of the day back when
she was in charge, and she could not claim that this was all underlings
doing this shit and that she had no knowledge of it, the whole thing
went straight back to her, as she was as corrupt as anyone. There was
all sorts of evidence that she had both her hands firmly in the cookie
jar of corruption, and her denials were believed by no one. Eventually,
the whole thing got to be too much, and she not only was voted out of
office, she decided that she needed to get the fuck out of Pakistan
altogether before she got busted. So she has been in a self-imposed
exile somewhere for the last number of years, that is, until Washington
started getting in contact with her. They asked her if she wass
interested in returning to Pakistan, and she said hell yes she was.
Washington lied hr because they were a big part of the corruption and
nepotism and cronyism that plagued her government, Mr. America
nBusinessman was right up front paying her off every which way. As a
result, she alwys played the pro-American role, saying that she would
do whatever Washington wanted of her and America liked that. They were
sad to see her go because she was so friendly to them, and asked he rif
she'd like to come back. The main sticking poinbt was the fact that she
and many of her cronies had been indicted in Pakistani courts for
various corruption related charges, and if she went back there, she'd
have to stand trial. That was something that Washington had to
act on, and they did, putting enormous pressure on Musharraf to drop
thos echarges so that she could come back. Musharraf was not interested
in having Bhutto back in any way share or form, and told Washington no
deal. However, as we all know, Washington does not know what the word
no means when it comes to things they want,so they have been
stepping up the pressure on Musharraf big time. They have even been
rattling their sabers and acting like they would come in and forcibly
remove him, and install Bhutto if he does not cooperate. Washington
also has tole Musharraf that they want him to step down from his
military post, so there would be a civilian government in Pakistan, not
a military one. These are the choices that America has given Musharraf
and Bhutto has been waiting in the wings. Musharraf has fefused this
choice as long as he possibly can, but being the politician that he is,
he knows when his goose is cooked, and that time is now. So he has
tentatively agreed to hold elections and to resign his post as
General and essentially enter into a partnership government with
Bhutto, one that would do far more than pay lip service to the idea of
cooperating with America. The charges against her and al lher people
are soon to be dropped, so they are all free to come back to Pakistan
again and set up shop like the good old days. What America hopes is
that these elections will end up with the Musharraf/Bhutto partnership
winning them and governing the land and the American agenda being put
front and center , something that makes the Bush Administration very
happy. If Musharraf will not play ball by himself, Washington thinks
that giving him an American puppet partner will help speed along the
cause.
The problem is that Bhutto has enemies in Pakistan that
are as powerful as her friends and allies are, and they want no part of
that bitch coming back. They thoughht that they had gotten rid of her
ass for good, and they are not pleased with her return. Many of these
people are Islamists, they don't like her one bit, first because she is
a woman, and they don't believe that a woman should be in government,
and secondly, because they know that she will pursue a pro-American
agenda. They came right out and said that if she did come back, that
they would be waiting, and they proved that to be right a few days ago.
When she first came back and was met at the airport and sped through
the streets of Karachi, I believe it was, in her mototcade, they tried
to strike at her. There were not one, but two bombs laying in wait
along her motorcade route, and they both went off in an attempt to
assassinate her before she even got started again. They did not get her
at all, but they got an awful lot of her supporters that had lined the
motorcade route to welcome her back, several hundred were either
killed or injured. That has started her off big time, she says
that it was Musharraf's people that tried this, she points to shit as
why were the streetlights on the motorcade route turned off even though
it was night, and so on and so forth. She also knows that the likes of
Al-Queda have said that they want her dead, so she knows that she has
many enemies upon her return. She realy does not want to share power
with Musharraf as much as he does not want to share it with her,
but she knows that here only real chance to return from exile was to
agree to this, so she did. It looks as if she and her partnership would
win any elections that Pakistan held, but things are not going to
be so easy for her this time around if she does get back in. Many in
Pakistan regard her as an American stooge and puppet, and that may be
because she basically is, and these folks have a lot of power in the
land now. Many Pakistanis, regardless of their political affiliations,
want pakistan to blow America off completely because they see the
War On Terror as a war against Islam, and Bhutto as a supporter of that
war. yes, she probably would win an election, but that would not mean
thaty the election was fair at all, she has a huge base of
supporters that would rig and fuck with everything to get her in, that
was how she got herself elected before. However, that would not mean
that she had any popular support even if she was partners with
Musharraf, because many Pakistanis regard him in the same way they look
at her, as an American puppet. There would be an awful lot of enemies
afoof for both of them, and that would mean that Pakistan
would suffer tremendously. There would be no way that these two could
ever possibly govern together, it would be like if America had made
George W. Bush and Al Gore be co-Presidents when the 2000 elections
were so close, something that cannot possibly work. Both sides hate one
another, after all, Musharraf took over from Bhutto, and they would
spend so much time backstabbing one another that it would be sick. The
assassination attempt on Bhutto proved that, if the bitch is serious
about having some kind of partnership government, then why did she
accuse Musharraf of being behind it, the answer is that he probably was
behind it. He wants her dead as much as the Islamists do, and that is
no way to have any kind of partnership. The people of Pakistan will get
a government that is so divided that it cannot govern effectively,
further sinking the country into Third World territory.
But if you think that Washington gives a fuck about that,
you are sadly mistaken. They could care less about what may happento
the Pakistani people, all they care about is having a government there
that will do their bidding without question. This is not even about bin
Laden or that Khan dude that sold all the nuclear shit, America does
not really give a fuck about either, although they say otherwise. They
want a compliant government in Pakistan so that thye have an
easier time of it right across the mountains from Pakistan in
Afghanistan. If there is a government in Pakistan that is not an
American puppet, that means that the insurgents and such that America
is fighting in Afghanistan have a safe haven from which to work and
re-group and shit, and that is bad for Washington. That has been a big
part as to why these groups have been able to re-take so much of
Afghanistan and give America such a bad time. Washington wants a
government in Pakistan that will waste precious resources on going
after these people, hassling them so bad that they cannot effectively
fight anymore. The fact that doing this means that the people of
Pakistan get shortchanged a lot and have an ineffective government is
of no concern to Washington. If they need money that badly, they can
always be given some of the immense amounts of it that have been
dredged up by the war, and then they'll shut up. The fact that any of
this money would only go to Bhutto and/or Musharraf is not a concern
either, because those are the only people in Pakistan that matter as
far as Washington is concerned.America wants nothing except puppet,
compliant governents everywhere in the Middle East, and will do
whatever they have to in order to get them. In Iraq, they went in and
ousted Saddam, and in Pakistan, they want to get their handpicked
government elected. Bhutto is more than willing to play along with
America, she proved that in the past, and Musharraf sees that he has to
either play right along too now or end up in his own self imposed
exile. Any alliance between these two politicians is not real at all,
it is as fake as professional wrestling, but politics is never about
the common people despite its endless claims to the contrary. It just
shows how corrupt and greedy both Bhutto and Musharraf realy are, that
they'll even attempt to fake an alliance just to get their grubby hands
on as much American money as they can. Washington is right there
waving loads of that money in their faces too to tempt them into
doing whatever they say. This amalgamation that we are about to see in
Pakistan does not reflect any kind of new world order or any of that,
it reflects the same old shit that has been going since time
immemorial, greed and moneylusts. In the past, that shit has never
proven to be any good for anyone except those that cook this shit
up,and just because we are in the 21st century does not mean that it
has changed any. This is just another sickening example of
politics as usual, the shit that has led mankind down the wrong path
for many a year, and promises to do for a very long time to come yet.
Nothing positive will come out of any of this, bin Laden will still be
on the loose, and Muslims will continue to hate America, but Washington
thinks that they'll be able to get their ways more easily, and that is
the sole reason that any of this shit is happening to begin with. Any
"partnership" government in Pakistan will be nothing of the sort, just
another ruse played on the people and somethinmg that will surely
make the world a much m,ore dangerous place than it already is, but
that has been what the Bush Administration has been doing since they
came in, and they have no plans to stop that shit until the day that
they leave.
