The reality of it all is that the Americans feel that they are sowing the seeds of their own imminent destruction by doing this. To begin with, the Americans are convinced that many, if not virtually all, of the Iraqis that they are training are double agents for the insurgents, and there have been many things happening as of late to support that line of thinking. America has been arresting many of these Iraqis and accusing them of being spies five of them in the last week alone, one of them being the Commander of the Iraqis , so that has hardly soothed any suspicions about them. The distrust and suspicion between the two sides has become so deeply entrenched that the cooperation that Washington envisioned here has totally eroded and has become hatred instead. Even when the Iraqis are not being arrested, there are many things that point to them not exactly being with the Americans like they are supposed to be. Many of them just do not show up when they are supposed to go to work, sometimes as few as two of them show when over 100 were supposed to. When they do show, they do not do a lot of shit that America wants them to, especially fight. They refuse duties that expose them to danger most of the time, and when a fight starts, they refuse to participate, taking off and leaving the Americans on their own against any insurgent forces that they may face. America is certain that these National Guardsmen are with the opposition because one of the main tactics that the insurgents use are remotely controlled land mines and such, they mine the roads and other highways and byways, and many Americans have been killed and maimed as of late by encountering these mines, and the Americans think that the Iraqi National Guardsmen know where these things are at, and they have even caught one of them laying down one of these mines red-handed. This has not fostered trust between the two sides like they were supposed to have. Add to that the fact that every time the American barracks come under fire from the insurgents rockets and such, the Iraqis are always long gone by the time it starts, in fact, the Americans say that they know when these things are coming now when they see the Iraqi Guardsmen start to leave. It does not take a keen scientific mind to realize that these dudes have to have some knowledge of what is going on beforehand, because very few of them are being killed lately, and the American casualty count keeps on going higher and higher. As you might expect, the American soldiers are not really happy with this arrangement, and are starting to say as much. They are telling Washington that they think that this is a failed policy once again, and that it just sows the seeds for more trouble in the future. In theory, it is a policy that makes some sense, it is not a bad idea to get the local people on your side, for that makes it harder for the enemy to get forces for their side. The problem is that it only works in theory, and that in reality it starts things far different than the ideals that are envisaged when it is all thought up.
If American soldiers themselves are saying that this policy is failing, then it must be failing really badly. The Islamic Holy Men that are leading the insurgents must be laughing themselves silly over this, as they see America giving them exactly what they need in order to fight against them efficiently. They are trading in their old Commie-style guns and weapons for the new, top-of-the-line American models, and they are also receiving training on how to use these things as well. No one beats America when it comes to the know-how of waging warfare, after all, it is so fuckin' important to Washington that they do it whenever they possibly can, so they know everything that there is to know about how to do it. The Iraqis know that, and they are willing to learn everything that they can at the feet of the American warmongers, and this program provides them exactly that. They know that this is a far better thing than having the Americans all over them trying to kill them and destroy everything, so they play along with the game. These National Guard dudes would either be busted and in some American POW camp somewhere, being humiliated and tortured by white trash bitches like that Lynndie England hag, or they'd be dead somewhere, killed in some American air raid or something like that. Instead, they are living for free with the Americans, getting three meals a day, and a bed, and no torture from ugly broads,and learning how to fight like the Americans do to boot. No wonder the Islamic Holy Men are not decrying this program and telling their followers to stay away from it or any of that shit, they know that this is far better training than they could ever provide, so they are encouraging their followers to go and join up right away. They know that they have these guys brainwashed so thoroughly that nothing the Americans could say will possibly change their thinking in any way, the fact that they are wearing some kind of American uniform means nothing, those are just clothes, the insurgents know that these guys are still with them all the way, and they are showing it, they are not even doing much to try and hide that fact anymore. Yet, Washington shows no sign of abandoning this plan, they are still throwing money at it left and right and insisting that it will work. They are ignoring what their own soldiers say about it in favor of their own ideals. They know that if they keep this up, that they are indeed training and equipping their own enemies of the future, and that all of this will come back to haunt America more than Babe Ruth haunts the Boston Red Sox. These Iraqis have been taught to hate America ever since they got their meals from their mother's tits, and they are not about to change that now just because America has this program. Washington seems oblivious to this, because the longer that this disastrous program goes on, the more dangerous it is becoming for American troops and the insurgents get more and more confident. This program is a certain recipe for disaster and America is careening towards it headlong and seeming as if it does not care either. No matter how much evidence is being brought to light about how this program is just training for the insurgent forces, America continues with it, dismissing everything and insisting otherwise.
The thing is, that this is nothing new for Washington. Policies like this have been used for over a century now, and they have always led to disaster, in fact, policies like this one led to this war in the first place. The mastermind behind the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, Usama bin Laden, learned everything that he knows about being a terrorist from the USA, back in his days when he was allied with them, when he was a guerrilla fighter against the USSR in Afghanistan. America took him under their wing and taught him the finer points of guerrilla warfare, and then abandoned him once the conflict was over. That pissed him off no end, and what he did about it is history and led to the war we have today. If America had never taught him that shit in the first place, he would never have been able to do that shit at all. He took what he learned from America and taught it to a lot of these fucked up followers of his, and he assembled himself a guerrilla army that attacked America and brought about a war that rages to this day. Now, America is training a new generation to be bin Ladens, to be able to fight against them successfully. These Iraqis are no more allies of America than bin Laden was in the 1980's, they are just fuckheads that want to learn how to be a good fighting force for free. Everything that they are learning from America, they are bringing back to the Holy Men that really control them, and those Holy Men are bust assembling plans to make themselves the next big thing in the terrorist world. Over and over again, America has pursued this policy, training their enemies to fight against them eventually. They did it is Iraq with Saddam, they taught him how to be a dictator, and he turned on the USA and became a multi-year problem. There were people that told Washington not to do this shit back then too, they said that there was no reason to be allied with the likes of bin Laden or Saddam, that teaching these people this shit was only going to lead to trouble. But Washington ignored them, preferring instead to stick to some kind of belief that this teaching would lead to these people understanding why America was so great, and accepting it and becoming converts to the American Way. Saddam and bin Laden knew that too, as have many other despots and dictator throughout the years, and they told Washington exactly what they wanted to hear all the time, so Washington kept right on teaching them things, and they used these things that they learned against America to great success. All throughout the world, there are products of that system leading nations and armies and such, and America has problems with most of them. Many unfriendly dictators in South America and Africa learned everything that they know about being a tyrant from America and they have not been shy about using that knowledge either. If America was not continually teaching these fuckers all of this shit, this worldwide war that we have on our hands would not be happening. This policy in Iraq is sure to aggravate that no end. At least one of these Iraqi National Guardsmen that America is training is going to become a big military leader because he will use the things that he learned from America to his advantage. All of the dictators and madmen that America has trained started out that way, as ordinary soldiers or politicians or Holy Men. The 21st century version of this is probably over in Iraq right now training with the Americans at a camp somewhere, just waiting for the chance to use what he is learning in the way that he really wants to use it. As Washington continues to turn a deaf ear to those that warn them about this, they are making things infinitely more dangerous for their own troops. They continue to hold on to this fantasy belief that they have had for a long time now about how the gospel of America can be spread to the masses worldwide and insist on continuing with this policy no matter how much it is shown to be not only a failure, but a disaster as well. Washington thinks that they are sowing the seeds of the gospel of America, the one way to a better world for all. The problem is that they are actually sowing the seeds of disaster, of continued warfare with all its attendant evils such as death and destruction, of continued problems for themselves, the seeds of death. No one or nothing seems to be able to show Washington this fact, and that is why things are only going to go from bad to worse for America in Iraq, and that is no matter who wins the White House in 12 days, Bush or Kerry. The ball has been set in motion, and it is going to keep right on rolling with nothing to stop it until the inevitable calamity results from all of this, and then Washington will make feeble excuses and tell lies and defend this indefensible nonsense. The cycle will continue uninterrupted, and the madness will not cease. That is what America shall reap from the seeds that they are sowing in Iraq now, not the great and glorious nonsense that Washington thinks. Once again, America rushed blindly into disaster and catastrophe, and it will be the innocents, the ordinary American soldiers and citizens that pay the price, not the idiots of Washington that think up bullshit like this.
