October 19, 2007- True Colors Showing

Over the years, President Bush has been a guy that has developed a pretty bad reputation in his own country, far worse than the ones that every President cultivates, simply because they can never please everyone, so there wil always be those that turn against them, but as we go on, more and more people seem to be turning against Bush. Even those that had been some of his staunchest supporters are now turning on him, and the man has been vilified in certain circles here in America no end. Everyone from late night talk show comedicans to political pundits to the average man and woman on the street has some bad shit to say about him it seems. His poll numbers have fallen to the lowest in memory, setting records just like he set records for high poll numbers back in 2001-2002. People all across America are saying that he is inept and unqualified and just plain old stupid, and we have heard that shit about him ever since he first set foot in the White House.  However, the place where you would think that you'd hear these accusations the most would be the international arena, because if they man is so inept and such, how the fuck could he ever manage international affairs? So it would seem that th eleaders of other countries around the world would have even worse things to say about Bush, but we have not heard anywhere near the chorus of that from them over the years as we haveheard it here at home. On the contrary, world leaders have usually been very complimentary about Bush when they have had to meet with him on various things. they have always complimented him on his methods, not said that he was a thug or a bully or a warmonger or any of that shit, and they never talk shit about him like people do at home. In fact, Bush sems to have a much higher approval rating among these internatioinal leaders than he does in America, and that has remained consistent over the years. The only leaders around the world that speak ill of him a lot are the likes of President Ahmadinejad of iran and Kim Jong-Il and those types, but leaders that actually work with him have usually been very complimentary. They talk about how he is their friend along with being a business partner and ally and shit and how he knows way more than people give him credit  for and all that tommyrot. Listening to them makes it seem as if Bush is some kind of foreign policy genius and an utter failure at home, making one wonder just how much of that can be true. Part of this attitude can be attributed to the fact that these other world leaders are in cahoots with America, and therefore Bush for now, and they do not want to upset the goose that lays the golden eggs, so they make nice with him. However, they don't have to, and that is what makes this all the more astonishing becauser they do not have to do that, no onemakes them, they are free to say what they want tosay, and they say nice things about him anyway, making it seem all that much more genuine. The leaders of the world have presented a united front, precisely what you would expect them to do. However, that front is not something that is going to last forever, and it seems that this is the case nowadays as we creep ever closer to that magic date of January 20, 2009, when Bush has to retire. Sudenly, that united front of al lthe good words about him is starting to crumblke and not just a bit either, crumble big time, and it looks as if we are starting to see the true colors of the other leaders starting to show big time.

This all started when Vincente Fox retired as president of Mexico and went on the book circuit with his memoirs and such. When Fox was President of Mexico, the dude had nothing but the highest praise for Bush. saying that he was cool to work with, especialy since he spoke Spanish, and that America and Mexico were forging a great partnership due to the realtionships between the two Presidents. Suddenly, once he retired, that tune changed dramatically, something that is a prominent feature in his memoirs. Fox has been going on Larry King Live and the like saying that he thinks that Bush is an arrogant bully that is woefully underprepared for his job, and even making fun of his Spanish, saying that it is essentially like pidgin English. The man that spend like five years plus singing Bush's praises now has nothing to say about him that is nice at all, basically retracting everything he said on the subject when he was President. If it was just thi sone dude that is retired now and trying to make money off of his books and that is why he says that, this would be one thing, but now, these true colors are startying to show all over the place. President Vladmir Putin of Russia is not due to retire for a while yet, and he has been the most vocal critic of Bush lately. He has been saying that the dude does not know what he is doing, especially on the subject of Iran. Just the other day he came out and said that he saw no evidence that Iran is planning to make any nuclear bombs or anything when we went there to meet with Ahmadinejad a few days ago. He also says that biggest taboo thing abiout Bush of all, that he started the wars that he did over oil and not anything else. He does not care about what Bush may think for the same reasons that Fox and other leaders do, the fact that soon Bush will be gone ,  consigned to history and no longer a factor. The reality is that these leaders all thought of the man the same as the people in America did, not very well, and they had to act otherwise for business reasons. They did not do so out of fear, but out of loyalty to money, for America leads the way to money in so many ways, that they simnply have to act like they like the President of the USA whether they really do or not. Now that Bush is on his way out, these leaders feel that they are now free to speak out truthfully about him, and they are now saying very nice things anymore. It seems that the only reason that they tolerated him to begin with was because they knew that he was like all American Presidents, temporary, and would be gone in less than a decade. That may seem like a long time, but do not forget that business is eternal, it always goes on, and any probhlems that Bush caused them woulld be relatively shortlived and meaningless. Even though they all seemed to think that all he was about was being some kind of cowboy with all guns blazing, they knew that they had to deal with him for either four years or eight, and if it came out eight, that would be all. So they knew they had to bite their tongues for about seven years maximum, and we are pretty much at that point now, and those bitten tongues are on the loose again. Not everyone has started in as of yet, but we can expect to start hearing from them after we get into the new year I am sure. Bush has been such a polarizing and controversial figure his whole term that every leader that ever dealt with him is going to be asked to give an epilogue to his Presidency, and not too many of these look as if they are going to be very positive or even nice at all. Putin and Fox may no thave been that close of allies to begin with, but others were, and they'll be chiming in with their opinions of Bush in the next fifteen months.

However, it must be pointed out that this shit works both ways. President Bush has had to hold his tongue about thewse same leaders for just a slong as they have had to do about him, and he is going to be much freer than many of them once 2009 comes around to say what he really thinks about them  all. he certainly has not liked many of these leaders that much, especialy Putin, after all, Bush  is a CIA man and Putin was a career KGB man, and there's  no fucking way that people like that can ever really like each other or work together well. Fox is not a lot better, because he used his Presidency to ram  a Mexican agenda right down Washington's throat, wanting all Mexicans to be allowed to be American citizens, regardless of whether or not they are here legally, tax breaks for Mexcian busnieses, shit like that. He did not work with America at all, he just made all these endless demands about things and insisted that every single one of them be implemented as is. Bush could no thave liked that shit at all, but he never went off about Fox when they had to work together, and even now, because he stil has to work with Fox's successor for a while. However, one he retires, I imagine that Bush could have a very interesting story or two to tell about Mr. Fox, and that this would not be a story that painted him in a positive light. The same can surely be said about Putin, Bush always hated that guy and just kept quiet about it, but if Putin insists on shooting off his mouth, Bush can answer once 2009 arrives big time. In fact, if Bush ever does start coming as clean as he ever will about these leaders, what he'd have to say would make their stuff look like kindergarten shit all the way. There's no way that he really liked much of any of these leaders that he had to deal with as President, the man is indeed to arrogant and conceited to think much of anyone that is not him. Most of these other leaders did not get a free ride to the top in life, they are not from prominent families that can just appoint their family members to things, they did not come from money and won't really go back to any either when they are done, so he looks down on shit like that just as he always has. Bush has been told that he is something special ever since he was a little shit, and people like that generally don't like others too well, as they see themselves as superior to them. Bush was brought up on the idea that the President Of The United States was "the most powerful man in the world", so when he reached that position, he automatically felt that it made him superior to other world leaders, no matter who they are. So he has many a scornful tale to tell about these other world leaders just as much as they have them on him and will surely do so once 2009 arrives. Book publishers are not unaware that Bush's memoirs, even as he will tell them,  have the potential to sell an awful lot of books and that lecture circuit awaits him, so there' s serious money awaiting George W. Bush once he retires. Spreadin gossip and shit about Putin and Fox and the others, be it true or not, wil make Bush an awful lot of money , far more than a Presidential salary ever did. So he does not care  if these fuckers are starting to get the hatchets out early and are sharpening them right up, he has the largest hatchet of them all and wil be sharpening that fucker up soon as well. he'll probably do so more than any retired President in recent memory, because he'll have tales to tell that will make the ones the other Presidents have look like nothing,  so that's why he is not making a big deal out of any of this shit.

Everyone will continue to play nice and act like friends right up until January 20, 2009, just like they are supposed to do. Then they'll all go their seperate ways and start sniping about one another and cashing in. The true colors wil be shown, but if you have been observant, you'll have seen them on display all along. These leaders are all trying to get themselves the largest share of the pie and are willing to do anytyhing to get it,m includeing doublecrossing the others at will. There is no teamwork here, just a bunch of greedy addicts trying to feed their addicitions. All this shows is thet the true colors of these leaders are not serving the country they represent or that country's people, but just representing themselves and the spoecial interests that made them where they are. None of these people particularly like each other, but they know that they have to play this game and make it look as they do  so they can grab everything they can get at. Whoever succeeds Bush in 2009 is going to find out the same thing, that thes eleaders won;lt like you much because they really do not like America, but they'll talk nicely about you and act like you are cool until you leave, then the true colors will show and the hatchets will come out. That is why you cannot have a thin skin or be hyper sensitive if you want  to be a world leader, you have to have the hide of an alligator and be  able to take a lot of shit. Buhs certainl has that kind of hide, that is wh7 he was groomed to be what he is now. No one becomes President of any country to winpopularity contests, that is impossible, as any leader always ends up with more people hating them than liking them no matter who they are. You put up the false colors for as long as necessary, then you let the true ones show through, and the next fifteen months are sure to see a lot of that as far as Bush goes. Since most of these leaders wil never see one another again after they leave office, it makes little difference what one says concerning another, it is not like they'll meet up in some bar and start fighting. They'll all go on that book and lecture circuit and make a ton of money, exactly why they got into the whole thing to begin with. None of them have to like the others, for they are just pawns in that endless world of busines and commerce, they are all replacable, and all of them wil be replaced sooner or later. They just have to act like friends for a certain period of time, then when that's over, they can go right back to whatever they want. That time period is just about over for George W. Bush, and the true colors of the other frauds are showing. However, there's no reason to feel sorry for him he gets all that retirement money, plus whatever hiis share is of the money stolen and made through the war he started, and all that money from the books and lectures  too. To him and the other leaders, all of that is more than worth putrting up a false front and acting like you like someone, and that is why this game is as endless as the commerce and business that spawns it. Bush knew going into it all that this is what he was to expect, after all, his old man was Presient not that long ago and knows all about this shit, so he should not be shocked at what he is hearting now. The only thing is that it seems to be a bit early yet, but that shows just how much the other world leaders hated Bush and want to see his ass gone. But Bush hates every single one of them every bit as much as they hate him, so it all comes out even in the end, and that also is exactly the way that all of this was supposed to come out,so the script is being dutifully followed to the letter.
