October 18, 2003- Despite What Is Said

We are now well into the third year of President Bush's War Against Terrorism. When this all started in 2001, people cautioned Bush and the Pentagon against a rush to judgement against Islam, insisting that the Muslim religion and the acts of terrorism perpetrated by those that professed to adhere to Islamic principles were two vastly different things, and that Bush should not get the two mixed up as he fights this war. Since Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein and the other villains of this drama are all of the Muslim faith, the easiest thing for Bush to do is to say that islam in and of itself is to blame for all this and that it must be wiped out. Millions upon millions of innocent Muslims were very afraid of that distinction not being made by America, and told Bush that. Ever the politician, Bush assured the Muslims of America and elsewhere in the world that he would indeed draw that distinction and only go after the terrorists, not Islam as a whole. Bush insisted that this would never become a war against Islam, because Islam itself was not to blame for it all, but it would always remain a war against terrorism alone. To back that point up, Bush did shit like go to mosques here in America for Ramadan celebrations and shit, and was all smiles and friendliness to the Muslim people there. He did everything that he could think of to give the impression that America was not at war against Islam. That was all at first. In the ensuing time, Bush has been conspicuously absent from Mosques and Islamic celebrations of any sort. He has continued to do shit like show up at Jewish celebrations and Catholic celebrations and various other celebrations that are practiced by religions other than his own (Methodism), but no Islamic ones at all. As Time has gone on, there have been no more declarations that America is not fighting against Islam from the White House or the Pentagon. As the search for bin Laden has gone on unsuccessfully and frustratingly, and as the situation in Iraq has grown ever more unstable, Bush has not been reassuring the Muslims of the world that America is not at war against their entire religion, and that has made them very nervous, and for good reason. Muslims in America have seen themselves become targets of not only the Pigs, but of ordinary citizens as well. Innocent Muslims all across America are being harassed and at times attacked by American citizens that feel that they are enemies of America. Yes, the Pigs are arresting these people when they do these things most of the time, but there has been no concerted effort by the American government to inform the American people that they should not think that way or act like that at all, that if they do, they are defeating America's efforts in so many ways because they are acting in a very un-American type of way. The government is not saying anything to its people about this issue one way or the other. If they were serious about not being at war against Islam itself, they would make a priority out of telling the people to cut that shit out because it is counterproductive, yet the administration is silent about it. Maybe that is because they are busy siccing the Pigs on Muslims for all sorts of reasons. Islamic clubs of al kinds are under intense scrutiny in America today, and any muslims that are not native born Americans have been made to register with the Pigs and have to tell them where they live and what they do and all sorts of shit just because they are Muslims. There have been all sorts of well-publicized raids on Muslim clubs, businesses, organizations, and individuals all across America. Every one of them has had the same justification, that these individuals and organizations have suspected terrorist ties of some kind. Even though nothing of any value has been gained from any of these raids, they continue unabated. Once again, the government is conspicuous by its silence on all of this. Even as they continue to insist that they are not at war with Islam, they continue to do these things. All of this shit parallels the war effort as well. A disturbing report has surfaced as of late concerning one of the main Pentagon Pigs that Bush has put in charge of the hunts for bin Laden and Saddam. Apparently, the man, Lieutenant General William "Jerry" Boykin, has made some very startling statements when he has been cashing in on the lecture circuit and speaking to groups across the country that would pay to hear him speak. The General has said things like he believes that God has chosen George W. Bush to lead the global fight against Satan, yes that's right, Satan. According to the General, America is not fighting against any terrorists, but against Satan himself. Of course, that would mean that the General feels that the Muslims are nothing but tools of old Lucifer, and that their religion is just something that he uses to fight against America, for the General feels that America is a nation of true blue God believers, and we all know how much Satan hates that. The General feels that the Christian God is the only true God or Supreme Being, if you will, and that Islam is just a religion of idolatry and evil. The General has lots of "proof" to back this all up, like photographs of Mogadishu, Somalia that have some kind of dark mark on them, a mark the General says shows a demonic presence that God revealed to him so that he could do away with it. The General also has other lovely stories about how God helped him take out a Somalian warlord, because the Christian God is "bigger" than Allah who the General says is just a mere idol. The General also says that George W. Bush is President because God wanted him there to fight against Satan, so that is why the will of the American people was ignored, and a dude that did not get the most votes became President. This is the kind of talk that is coming out of one of Bush's main point men in the War On Terror. Since all these quotes have been made public, the General has said that he won't say shit like that anymore in his speeches, because he "does not want to come across as a right-wing radical." But the damage has been done already, so the General might as well go right on saying what he wants to say so that he can get his speaker's fees off of these groups that invite him to come talk to them.

For when you listen to what the General has to say, you get a picture of what the Bush administration really feels that they are doing in their endless war. There has been no rebuke of the General's remarks by the Pentagon, all that Donald Rumsfeld will say is that the General made those remarks on his own time in a private, non-Pentagon setting. Big deal. The fact is that this General is running a large part of the American war effort, and this is the way the dude thinks. He really seems to feel that he is working for some sort of emissary of God in George W. Bush and that he is trying to rid the world of evil old Satan himself. If this was not such a serious situation, it would be very laughable. How the General thinks that he and Bush will be able to defeat Satan, a scourge upon mankind for time immemorial is a good question, for others Have been trying for millennia upon millennia to do just that, and none of them have succeeded, so why will America? The real reason that the general says this nonsense is because he wants to paint the war as a battle between good and evil so that the American people will support it all more. If he truly feels that bin Laden and Saddam are two of the devil's henchmen, perhaps he should not be running the war effort like he is. The reason that he is has to do with the fact that Bush agrees with the dude on this, he does truly feel that he has been chosen by God to fight the forces of evil in the world, and that is how he has approached the entire war from Day One. So, since the people that are coordinating this war on the American side feel this way, to say that it has not become a war against Islam is an outright lie. Since the American are putting everything in these moralistic, crusading terms here, they have to have an organization that is firmly in the hands of Satan if America is in the hands of God, and the only conclusion that can be drawn here is that islam is that organization. The American side seems to think that they have the only true God on their side, and that the God that Islam has is actually a pawn of Satan, so how then could this not be a war against Islam? All that this attitude is going to do is to inflame the Muslims of the world something fierce, since one thing that many, many people are very passionate about is their religion, I may have no use for any of it, but millions upon millions of others feel that they do, and this attitude that the General embodies is just going to make them feel that they are involved in a Holy War, despite what America may say to the contrary. Most Muslims wanted America to capture the likes of bin Laden and Saddam at first, they considered them bad for Islam and not real Muslims at all. But when these same Muslims hear talk like that of the General and see no rebuke of it coming from either the White House or the Pentagon, they lose that support very quickly, because they take umbrage at being lumped in with these dudes at all. Just because they are the same religion as these fuckers does not mean that they support what they stand for and do at all. But they are taught as Muslims that they have to stand up for the muslim brothers and the faith in general if some outside power comes around saying that they are declaring war on Islam. So that support of America has turned into contempt in most Muslim places by now. The Muslim people, by and large, now feel that America is indeed waging a Holy War against Islam in the name of Western Christianity. This, of course, plays right into the hands of Osama bin Laden, who started this whole thing back on September 11th, 2001 so that he could sucker America into starting a Holy War against Islam because one country alone, no matter who it may be, has no real chance of defeating America in a war nowadays, but if an entire religion can be galvanized against America, then things might be different. Especially when that religion is a paranoid one that continually preaches that outside forces are going to come and declare war on Islam in the name of their own God. Like the stupid dumbfuck that he is, Bush fell right into this and is getting deeper and deeper into it every day. America is no longer seen as a benevolent power that is doing Islam a favor by going after the bad guys that masquerade behind the religion, but as the outside power that they have been warned about. The longer that this war goes on, the less that it becomes a War On Terror, and it becomes more and more a War Against Islam. Bush hiring people lik ethe General to run the thing is not helping this either. As time goes on, the real possibility that America might come right out and say that they are indeed at war against Islam becomes greater and greater. The more frustrated that Bush gets that the enemy here has not just rolled over and given up, the more that his righteous thinking gets going, and he really sees himself as a warrior for God. As America gets more disgusted with the constant state of war and public opinion turns against Bush the more that he will retreat into this moralistic world that he has created and get lost in his own megalomanical fantasies. Since he is regarded as the most powerful man in the world, that means that he can do an awful lot of damage thinking that way. Bush seems to be losing himself in the religious fantasy charade, and the more that he thinks that he is only accountable to God and not the American people. The more that he will act in this alarming fashion. We saw it with the Iraq thing, when Bush practically said that God Himself said that America had to get Saddam. Now that they have not yet been able to do that, Bush still refuses to leave the righteous dream and becomes even more convinced that his is a divine mission. Where this trend is going to go in the future is anyone's guess. Bush has done all that he can do to turn this all into a Holy War against Islam, and if he keeps it up much longer, he surely will. Then America will be in a situation that they want no part of. Bush needs to get out of the Holy pipe dreams that he has and get real and see that he is about to pit America against a huge part of the world's population by his tactics. But as long as the American people continue to accept his lies and not question them for fear of being labeled a disloyal American, the fantasy world that Bush and the General inhabit will just get worse and worse, as they get further and further lost in it. The result could be catastrophe for the whole world and that is what Bush is risking by putting people like the General in key positions in the war and that is why this stupid fuckin' war has to come to an end as soon as possible before disaster results.
