October 16, 2007- The Next Five Year Plan
Back in the early days of The People's
Republic Of China, when that fucking madman Chairman Mao Zedong was
running the country intio the ground, he came up with these things that
he called "five-year plans." they were the ways in which he
decided that he was going to modernize what was then arguably the most
backward major society in thew world. Millennia of isolation had put
China way behind everyone else on earth, so Mao decided that he was
going to get them to catch up by instituting these plans. What he did
was to take a certain five year period and set all these largely
unrealistic, impossible goals for the society to meet.He wanted to do
shit like modernize farming tachniques out of the oxencart era right
into the modern day, and have steel factories in people's backyards to
help industrialize the country out of the ancient ear into modern
times, and he made sure that these goals were worked at furiously. Even
when it was obvious right from the start that they were wholly
unreachable and would never be realized, Mao kept their noses to the
grindstone trying to make these fucked up dreams of his come true. Time
after time after time, he failed at these thing, when the five year
period ended, things were literally no different than they werre when
it started, but that left Mao undaunted, he just set more of these
insane goals for the next five years and failed miserably at them too,
in fact, the breakneck pace that he had everything on actually
contributed to the demise of his country, as everything got more and
more hopelessly fucked up because it was being rushed so much. But he
never gave up on these things, China was right in the middle of another
one when Mao died in 1976, and that was about it for them then. The
people that took over for Mao put things on a much slower, saner pace,
as they realized that it was going to take a very long time to get
China on a par with other lands, because they were coming from farther
back than anyone ever had in history. Mao was insane to begin with and
had little to no concepotion of reality, but since he had that iron
grip on power, no one could stop him, but once he was gone, the leaders
slowed shit down and started to do it sanely. They started to look at
the big picture as a whole rather than worry about the next little bit,
they knew that they had to work with the rest on the world, not shun
them anymore, to get where they wanted to be, and that they have been
doing for the last thirty years plus now. Through these methods, China
has steadily made progress, and no wis right up there with thew rest of
the major world powers, and is poised to make this century the greatest
one they have had in thousands of years. However, through all this
transition, it is still the same People's Republic Of China that Mao
founded back in 1949, and these leaders are descendants of his, not
literally, but politically, they all belong to the political party that
he founded back then, so the ideals of Mao are still alive and well
there, if not the exact methods that he employed. The leaders of China
still want to bring their nation into the forefront of the world every
bit as fast as Mao did, and they found a better way than his plans by
scoring the 2008 Olympics, that will do the job very well, and these
Olympics are a springboard for China's plans and agendas for the new
century, and there is still a lot of tinkering to do with that as far
as China is concerned. They have mighty big dreams over Beijing way
these days, and have not been shy about trumpeting them to the world.
However, they know that in order to realize these dreams of theirs,
they have some more work to do on their society, particularly the
military, and that is where Chairman Mao's old ways come back into play.
They are having a big old bash in Beijing this week, a
leftover from the days of Mao, this week is the Communist Party
Congress, a get-together of al the Commie bigwigs from across China,
and they meet to discuss the path the society is going to take, since
they are the only ones in that society that get any say in it. The
Communist Party President is the head of these shindigs, and this time,
that would be the honorable Hu Jintao. This dude has been having hi
sproblems ever since he took over, and this Congress was the perfect
opportunity for him to show that he did indeed have a plan, and he used
that opportunity the other day, and did it Chairman Mao style. What he
did was to announce a modern day five year plan, a plan that mainly
concentrated on one thing, the military. He said that China needed to
start modernizing their military, and he had a long list of ways that
they were going to do that between now and 2012-2013. The biggest one
had to do with th Internet, because he said that China needs to be
ready to "win" a war that would be fought largely over the Internet. So
what he wants to do is to speed up progress in the Chinese military's
computer skills and technology, because he feels that this is where the
wars of the future will be fought. Jintao went on to say that no one
should be alarmed by any of this, because this is all purely defensive
in nature and China does not want to use tis to start shit with anyone
else, the same old story that Beijing puts out every time they do some
military shit or another. However, he also said that they were going to
do this on a five year plan, meaning that they are not fucking around
here, that they are serious about this shit, and plan on getting it
done a whole lot sooner rather than later. This all fits in with the
plan that Beijing has had in place for a lot longer than five years
about modernizing their military as a whole, military spending is now a
big part of the Chinese budget, and this just seems to accelerate it
even further. Since the Olympics are in less than a year now, none of
this military shit in the new five year plan is going to be about that,
it wil not even be in place by the time the Games are over, so this is
all about the future, the future of China in the world. One of the
reasons that China has fallen so far behind is the fact that they have
consistently had a shitty military that is easily defeated and outdone.
They see the path to world domination as having a strong military,
after all, that was what was used against them so often and what made
them so backwards as well. China wants to take its place as one of the
great nations of the world, take advantage of the fact that one out of
every five people on earth live there, and they want to have the
military to back that up because they also know that these plans of
theirs are not going to go down too well with many others across the
world, especially the West. they feel that they have a score or three
to settle with the West, and feel that now is the time to start that up
and that is why they are announcing this bold new five year plan. Doing
it as a five year plan is also advantageous to them, because even if
they have no real hope of getting the thing done in that time, it sends
a powerful message to the west, they used that old Mao Zedong plan,
showing the west that they are far from kowtowing to them meekly like
they want. No five year plan in the history of Chiona has ever been
favorable or kind to the West, and this one is surely no different at
all, even if Jintao used nice diplomatic language to say it, this plan
is not good at all for any Western nations.
Jintao says that all of this is defensive, that China is
not trying to stir up shit, but that is a crock of bullshit deluxe. he
says that China is doing this defensively, but he does not say just who
they are defending themselves against. Yes, China has enemies, but
these are mostly domestic groups, people that do not like the fact that
their land was annexed by China and want independence and such and the
government in Beijing makes sure that these people do not live the good
life, even by Chinese standards, so they mostly live in the shitty
sections of the country, and would have a serious problem even having
access to the Internet, let alone being able to do any real cyberdamage
at all to Beijing. Besides that, China is not exactly the Internet
capital of the world, they are not right up there with cutting edge
technology, and many parts of their society are not even touched by the
Internet yet. It does not seem that there would be any real reason to
try and attack them on that level because you could not do much damage
as it was, many things would not be affected at all no matter what you
did to them online. It would be pointless to try and attack them that
way, if you wanted to attack a country that way, find one where
everything is tied into the Internet and computers, not one that is
still decades behind. So there is no one that is looking to attack
China in that way, so that claim of defensiveness by Jintao is a whole
lot of hogwash. What they want to do is get Internet savvy like that so
thjey can go and start attacking everyone else's computers, they
have been hard at work at that as of late. England, Germany, America,
and other Western countries have been reporting that there have been
several attempts at major Internet mayhem and sabotage if their
computer system from China. Every one of those countries has had peple
try and hack into their sensitive government compouters, and every time
it traces back to China somewhere. Beijing denies that they are doing
this, but that is a load of caca if there ever was one, because
they never even give plausible denials for this shit or explanations as
to why it is always being traced back to them. So that leaves little
doubt as to where the origins of these cyberattacks are, and China is
the place. They are the ones that want to wage what is called IT
warfare, and this modernization campaign is designed to speed that
process up a plenty. China wants to learn how to hack these computers
faster and better than they do now, and that is a goal that is plenty
reachable in five years time, as five years is an eternity in the
cyberworld, and you can make a tremendous amount of progress
there in a very short time. This is not steel plants in people's
backyards, shit that had no value whatsoever, this is how you start to
live out those dreams that you have had for so long and exact some of
that revenge that you liust after so. There is nothing defensive about
this plan, it is all offensive as China is quickly assuming the
role of aggressor in the world, and the cyberworld is going to be no
different. They want to be able to rule that cyberworld, or at least be
pretty fucking close to it, in five years time because they see that as
the key to ruling the real world as well. Nothing that Beijing ever
does has any benefits except for Beijing, and this five year plan is no
different, it is actually the start of anagenda that will eventually
cause tremendous problems for the entire world. What Mao Zedong wanted
so badly and failed at so consistently is now fast becoming reality.
The West needs to hope that this five year plan of
Jintao's failes as miserably as Mao's backyard steel plants and
such failed in the past, because the stakes are a lot bigger now. That
shit that Mao did was never going to have any effect on the West at
all, he mismanaged things so badly that even his military was not a
formidable threat, so he never because a real problem for the West,
even when he got the atomic bomb, but now is a totally different story.
yes, an atomic bomb in the hands of Mao was a real threat to the West,
but the dude was never going to use it offensively at all, because he
knew that if he did, all that he would accomplish was making sure that
large parts of his country ended up in radioactive cinders for
millennia to come, so there was no way he was ever going to do that.
However, if China goes and launches Internet strikes, they are not
going to suffer anywhere near as huge a fate in retaliation. No one
will send nuclear bombs their way to stop this, or bombs of any kind
for that matter, and that is what Beijing is counting on and using to
its advantage. Since their society is not totally tied in to the
Intwernet and computers yet, launching a retaliatrory strike in
cyberspace wil not have the effects that would be needed. If China gets
into American government computers, they can fuck the entire society up
no end, cause chaos and problems on a massive scale, better than using
a nuclear bomb any day. If America gets into Chinese government
computers, they won't control the entire society, not even the entire
government. Yes, they'd fuck Chinese society up, but not anywhere near
as bad as American society could be fucked up by the Chinese. So this
is a relatively low risk thing fior Beijing to do, far less risky than
launching one of their nuclear bombs so that is why they want to ramp
up the pace of this. They are getting all kinds of free technological
help from the rest of the world in preparation for the Olympics next
year, so that wil put them closer to everyone else technologically, and
they are also getting a free education on just how the rest of the
world has the Internet set up. The time is now fo rtthem to implement a
five year plan, but not a plan that specifically helps Chinese society,
but a five year plan that starts the ball rolling for them in
their mad dreams of taking over the world and becoming the pre-eminent
power on earth. The thing is that they are almost certainly going to
get away with this because the rest of the world is still too afraid to
say anything to them because they do not want to get shut out of a
market that includes one out of every five humans, so they'll let
Beijing do as it pleases, just like they have been doing for a long
time now. They are going to have to hold their collective breath and
hope that what comes ouit of this new five year plan and the ones that
shall follow it does not spell disaster , but the reality of the
situation is that there is little to no hope of that, because Beijing
has anagenda that they are determined to pursue, and the fact that no
one is standing up to them anymore is emboldening them no end and
increasing the pace of all this. They want to stick it up the
collective ass of the West and those other nations that they feel have
taken undue advantage of them all these years and that is what
this new five year plan is all about. This is just the beginning of
China as a huge problem for the West, a problem that no one is going to
do anything about until it is way too late, all because of the
insatable greed of Mr. Businessman, something that is being taken
advantage of by China and something that wil be the undoing of the West
one day.
