October 10, 2007- The Truly Great Miracle

   Earlier this month, we had what was heralded as a breakthrough in the six nations talks involving North Korea, South Korea, Russia, China, Japan, and America regarding the North Korean nuclear program. As we all know, this has been an ongoing soap opera type saga that started back in the 1990's whern former President Jimmy Carter started negotiating with Kim Il-Sung ovet the issue, but Kim Il-Sung died just when they started making progress, so America had to deal with his no account asshole son Kim Jong-Il, who took over and started the whole charade in high  gear. Ever since then, the little creep has been using these negotiations as a political ploy and milking it for all it is worth. He keeps sending his lackeys to the talks for a while, then finds some flimsy pretense to call them back home and stop everything, then he sends them back in again, and the negotiate a "deal", but that deal is never implemented and he goes right on doing what he wass doing, mainly, making nuclear weapons and the like, and the whole process starts over again and again and again, re-run like an old " I Love Lucy" TV show. He goes out and talks tough, and says that no one will tell him what to do and that if he wants nuclear weapons, he'll have them, and then says that he is amenable to the talks, and starts that whole dance up again and we always seem to end up right back where we started from. However, this month, we got word that these talks might just be bearing fruit at last and  a real deal may very well be in the offing. Kim Jong-Il said as much like a week or so ago when he said that North Korea would comply fully with the requests of the others and not only stop making more nuclear bombs and  shit, but dismantle and scuttle their whole program entirely. It seemed that maybe this time as for real, as things had been changing a bit, and not necessarily in Kim Jong-Il's favor, the decades of partying like a rock star seemed to have caught up with him and he was reported to be ill and on his last legs, and if he was, this nuclear shit has been the only trump card that shithead has ever had, and now may have been the time to play it at last. He wants an end to his sorry saga and life on his own terms, and the nuclear shit has always been the  way he was going to get it and if he was ill, perhaps now was that time. However, as always, delays and other snafus started popping up and nothing real ever came out of it once again. Then, we suddenly saw Kim Jong-Il in public for the first time in a long time, as he welcomed his South Korean counterpart to Pyongyang for a summit meeting of some kind, and even though Kim Jong-Il was heavily made up Hollywood style for the cameras, he was still spry enough to make several meeting with the other Korean dude and also give the cat shit like a huge amount of some kind of mushrooms that are considered a delicacy in Korea and then proclaim that he was "an Internet expert" and start acting like the Kim Jong-Il of old. That all  came to a head the other day when we got to the first anniversary of the nuclear weapon that North Korea tested to show the world what it could do. This day was celebrated as a holiday across North Korea, and Kim Jong-Il was praised to high heaven like he is on every holiday there. There was some kind of pompous proclamation given out by the government that said all this shit about how he gave the North Korean people "skies of peace" and  how this whole nuclear test was a "truly great miracle" that the little fucker had given to his land and  all that kind of shit. Hearing that, it seemed that the whole charade was back on, in just as high of a gear as it had ever been.

   It does not seem in keeping with an agreement to dismantle and stop your nuclear program to hail the day that it was first truly tested out as a day of miracles and wonder and shit, that makes it sound like you were not very serious again at the negotiating tables a few weeks ago. This has got to be what South Korea, Russia, China, Japan, and America are hearing out of the little turd when he goes off like that. This is what he has consistently done over the years, pretend that he is going to cooperate, then going out and getting caught red-handed in the nuclear cookie jar by either making something or testing it ir whatever, and it looks very much like he is doing it again. He has consistently thumbed his nose at the rest of the world on this issue and sounded like that when he had his government mouthpieces blather out that pompous shit on the anniversary day. The other five parties involved here are not at all happy with this shit, because they are sick of starting over again and again with this little asswipe and have had about enough of his act. Every single one of them would love to just blast in there in  depose the fucker Saddam style. but they also know that this would be very, very, very difficult because of the highly militarized state that the cunt has, not to mention those nuclear weapons and a willingness to use them if need be, so negotiations have been the only way to go. The reality is that Kim Jong-Il does not have any allies that matter in the wortld, everyone wants to see him gone because they want to open up the Korean peninsula for Mr. Businessman and make it the next Japan, so he might do well to comply with the offers that he is given. However, he has always chosen not to, always seemingly holding out for a beter deal, and the deal that he was offered this last time was the best of all. The other five nations have been very generous in what they offer him, seeing as what he is and how he operates, and they no longer know what to offer him. He has been offered a virtual free pass for any and all crimes that he and his regime have committed, and the numbers of these are legion, as is the seriousness of them, no one says that he going to go the way of Erich Hoenecker or Slobodan Milosevic or Saddam, and for a man that has committed atrocities that rival anyone's, that is a real good deal here. The fucker is given free food and aid and hardware because his mismanagement has caused his people to starve, and he just takes all of that and gives it to his military machine, and the people continue to starve, and still nothing is done over it. Time and time again the little dickhead takes the aid and whatever other incentives are given to him to cut the shit and then enever stops anything, and here he goes again it seems. This time the others were more certain that he was serious, as serious as a deceitful tyrant ever is, because they heard he was ill and had problems.  They know exactly how vain that little cretin is and that he would gladly stop governing to tend to himself when health problems arose and have given him the out that he needs, yet, there he was once again, making speeches about miracles and shit like that and acting every bit as defiant as he ever has since this whole thing started. As lways, the action sof Kim Jong-Il seem to make no sense at all, but there are always real, underlying reasons for what he does, these negotiations have been run by them ever since the days when Jimmy Carter was running them, and the shit that he is doing right now is just a continuation of that process, the process that is seemingly never ending. Kim Jong-Il is doing what he is doing for reasons, and those reasons benefit Kim Jong-Il only and no one or nothing else.

   The first reason that he is acting this way is that he is not as sick as everyone thought, or as sick as he was before. he probably got the shit scared out of him by his health problems, and really thought that he was at the end of the line, after all, it is very logical for him to think that, considering that he is and has  been a massive drug addict and alcoholic for decades and has done an awful lot of shit. It has been rumored that the dude travels with a doctor at his side at virtually all times to be there in case he overdoses or something, so he is clearly up there in Keith Richards territory when it comes to partying, and may have very well thought that he reached the point of no return. So he may very well have been serious a while ago when he told his lackeys to go to the mneetings and say that they were ready to cooperate with everyone, because he thought thathis days as a tyrannical leader were over and that he needed to craft that deal about how he will be dealt with now.  He is far more afraid of dying like Hoenecker, Milosevic, and Saddam died than he is of dying of an overdose of something, and will do anything to prevent that, and earlier this year, probably felt like he was at that point. However, Kim Jong-Il can afford the best medical care that there is in the world, since he stole all of the country's wealth foir himself, and he had gotten some seriously good doctors to come see him it seems. Keith Richards has lived for as long as he has  due to good doctoring, and Kim Jong-Il probably called some of the same dudes. However he did it,he seems to have found a way to get himself back functioning again just as Keith Richards did when he fell out of that tree a while back. He is probably no longer scared of croaking off imminenty and decided to go back to his old ways. If he had his druthers, he would never sign or agree to anything concerning his nuclear program, he wants to bequeath that to whoever takes over for him as it was bequeathed to him when his old man died and will do so if he possibly can. It is just that fear of being held acountable for what he has done that keeps him even pretending to negotiate and now that he has these top notch doctors at his disposal, he no longer see the need to negotiate, and can go back to that same old stale game that he has been playing all along. He does not give a flying fuck about the fact that the people of his nation starve and die of disease, that is their problem as far as he is concerned, so if the nation keeps falling apart under his rule, that is of no concern to him. All he wants to do is write his own script, after all, the asshole is a film student and ardent Hollywood buff, and the nuclear weapons give him  the opportunity to do that in his eyes. He wants to die suddenly of an overdose, so that no one can try and unseat him while he is ailing or hold him accountable for anything, so as long as he is not dying sick, he has zero incentive to negotiate. He showed that he is not that sick when he saw the Southg Korean dude and the sudden downturn in negotiations proves that. He knew full well that the other countries involved in the negotiations would be very upset at that little proclamation that he had his mouthpieces make the other day, but that was just his way of telling them that he was not as down and out as they may have thought, that he was still the same little intractable prick that he has always been and that he has no intentions of ever stopping this little game and charade with the negotiations and if they do not like it too fucking bad.

   Now that he has boldly proclaimed that he is not a dying basket case, the other countries need to figure out just what to do about that little fucker. They have done just about everything that they possibly can do in these extended negotiations and are at a loss as to where to go next. The little shit is holding back Mr. Businessman's progress, and Mr. Businessman is starting to cry long and hard about it, so that roadblock known as Kim Jong-Il has to go soon. If this cgarade and fan dancing goes on much longer, North Korea wil be the one that is a dying basket case, not its leader, as the country will be destroyed by Kim Jong-Il's mismanagement and no good to anyone anymore. There is no place in that vision of Mr. Businessman for Kim Jong-Il. so something has to be done about his sorry ass. The other countries know that they cannot go in there with "shock and awe" type strikes because he can fight back from that, but they may try and resort to subterfuge in order to get this asshole out. They could send in agents that try and stir up political opposition and such and fuck up his society that way. Or they could just try and figure out where he gets that speed that he is always doing and get a hold of some of that and fuck with it and poison it and such and make sure that he dies of that overdose like he wants. No matter what, the fact is that they have had enough of Kim Jong-Il and he needs to go. China has the upper hand with this, as they are neighbors with im and seem to already have some kind of plan in place about that. Once the 2008 Olympics are over, China could go and depose Kim Jong-Il without military intervention on some pretense, and then take over and choose their own Beijing men to run it. The more that he continues to fuck around with this negotiating  process, the more that he risks something like that happening to him. However, the man is so egomanical and downright evil that he seems not to care about that, he seems to think that he has a solution and answer to everything, and the fact that every answer that he has ever come up with before has turned out to be a failure does not deter him. If you want to see a real great miracle in North Korea, it would be that fucker coming to the realization that he better get serious about these nefgotiations quick and eal in good faith for once in his sorry life. He thinks that having nuclear weapons protects him from everything, but in today's world, there are ways other than nuclear war to get a country to change, and that little twerp is going to find that out that hard way if he keeps this shit up much longer. He is nowhere near a sinvincible as he thinks that he is, that speed makes him think that way, but that speed is lying to him, because the longer that he continues the charade, the more vulnerable he actually is. He needs to take that free pass that has been offered him  and run with it, because the script that he thinks he can write for himself  is not going to happen unless he shows some degree of cooperation. He is cornered far more than he realizes, and always has been, and if he wants to avoid the fates of the other tyrants and such, he needs to get serious right fucking now, not go blowing out his ass about "truly great miracles." If he does not, the only miracle will be if he does avoid not only the fates of the others but a worse one, for what he has done makes those other tyrants look like Boy Scouts. He needs to play that card of his sooner rather than later, for if he waits much longer and keeps on bluffing, it won't trump anything , no matter how powerful it might be.
