President Bush and Co. Love to brag about how many Al-Queda dudes they have captured or killed, like that Ron Jeremy look-alike dude they captured in Pakistan, and they also like to send notice to bin Laden himself, vowing that he is next and that it is only a matter of time before he suffers the same fate as his henchmen. Washington likes to say that all these captures and killings have disrupted Al-Queda quite a bit and fractured the organization, thereby reducing its effectiveness. It is true that busting and killing all these Al-Queda leaders has fractured the organization a lot and disrupted it as well. However, that does not mean that it has been terribly effective at stopping Al-Queda. Those that have been studying them are saying that it has not at all. What has happened is that Al-Queda has gone from being a terrorist organization headed by bin Laden into a more loosely affiliated group of ideologues. People like bin Laden are no longer leaders of this organization, they are now seen as role models, dudes who have their pictures on young radical Muslim's bedroom walls like Ozzy in the West, and they have less and less control over how things are run, and they like it that way too. Things are now set up that lesser cells of Al-Queda are now able to operate and pull shit off without having any contact with the upper echelon of leadership at all. They have the blessings of these dudes, and that's about it, they operate pretty much on their own and do shit themselves. This is necessary because the various Muslim factions that belong to Al-Queda have differing agenda and reasons behind what they do, so the upper leaders just stay out of the way now and let them do their stuff themselves rather than trying to homogenize everything. That has led to shift in tactics away from spectacular attacks like the ones on September 11th, 2001, to smaller ones on softer targets like the Madrid train bombings and the Bali bombings and so forth. The leaders of Al-Queda know that they have the world's attention now, and that anything they do is going to be whipped up into a huge thing by the world media, and that is half of what they want. Now they only have to maim or kill a fraction of the people than they did in 2001, and everyone will freak out big time and every act they do is made into something much larger than it actually is, just because Al-Queda people did it. That means that bin Laden and the other leaders don't have to do much anymore except to issue a statement here and there encouraging such things, and the poor fuckers that are brainwashed into believing their bullshit are used as pawns to do the dirty work, and if they get captured or killed, so what, there are many, many more where they came from, as the radical Islamic doctrine that Al-Queda feeds on is gaining popularity in the Islamic world every day as the Muslim people grow increasingly sick of America and its war and turn to these radical groups for support. By many accounts, there are a lot more Al-Queda fighters now than there were back in 2001, they are just not going off to Afghanistan to training camps to learn spectacular terrorist tactics, they are being trained where they live in smaller, guerrilla style terror tactics, and they are learning them just as well as ever and becoming just as effective as ever too. So when Washington says that they are Having success in eliminating Al-Queda, they are not exactly telling the truth once again.
America is still fighting this war as if they are fighting against a tangible enemy, treating Al-Queda as if they were some kind of enemy army, like the Viet Cong or something. This is proving to be increasingly ineffective as Al Queda splinters into smaller and smaller groups, each with its own agenda and leaders. What has happened now is that the War On terror has gone from a war against an enemy (Al-Queda) to a war against a mentality or system of beliefs. Those that run under the Al-Queda banner now mostly do so because they are furious at Washington for the way that it has conducted itself during the war. That has translated into America basically having to fight against everyone everywhere all the time because more and more Muslims are turning against them. Even those Muslims that thought that bin Laden was a motherfucker and did not like his organization and were glad to see them go have now turned against the Americans because of the way that Washington has conducted this war. They might not like bin Laden so much and what he stands for, but they now hate America and what it stands for even more. That has more than negated the positives of capturing and killing all the Al-Queda leaders because now any Muslim Holy Man fuckhead at a mosque can get himself an army to fight against America, and he does not even have to answer to anyone to do it either. America is creating more and more of these every day, and the results are showing by the larger numbers of killed and wounded American soldiers. The White House does not say that however, they still tell the American people that they are fighting bin Laden's organization and kicking its ass when they are actually creating mini-bin Ladens everywhere in the Middle East. Iraq is now a hotbed of anti-American activity when it was not before when Saddam was running things. Iran is fast becoming the same thing, as is Syria, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and every other Muslim country as well. Far From controlling radical Islam, America has spread it around the globe at light speed faster than any Muslim Holy Men ever could hope to. It is far more of a threat to America and the West than it ever Was before, and there is no sign of that trend slowing anytime soon. Plus, the tactics that the Islamic radicals are using now are putting more Americans and others in danger than ever as these bus bombings and disco bombings and so forth are killing more innocent Westerners than before. So, for Bush to keep on saying that America has Al-Queda on the run and it will just be a matter of time before they are gone is one of the bigger lies that you will ever hear. Even though Al-Queda is not much of an organization anymore, the radical ideology that spawned it is more widespread than ever and that is manifesting itself in an ever bigger War On Terror. However, that will not be brought up in tonight's debate by either candidate nor will it be brought up ever during the entire campaign. Washington will continue to insist that America has Al-Queda on the run, because they know that things cannot get markedly worse between now and Election Day no matter what these Islamic flunkies pull off. They know that the chances of them pulling off another spectacular terrorist stunt before then are slim, so they can continue to lie to the American people about this and get away with it. Washington knows exactly what they are up against, they are not that stupid. That leads one to wonder why then are they going about things in a way that they know is not particularly effective in achieving the stated objectives of eliminating Al-Queda.
The way that America is conducting the war may not be so effective in fighting Al-Queda, but it is very effective in another way. There is just so much money flying around in this war that many men are getting obscenely rich from it, and that has been Washington's main objective since this all started. Al-Queda has become like drugs have been to America, this allegedly avowed enemy that has to be eliminated, but The Establishment knows good and well that eliminating this allegedly avowed enemy is bad for business. If Al-Queda were indeed put out of business, that would mean that America had lost a huge source of income and that the right people would no longer be profiting off of it. The War On Drugs has always been a failure because America knew that if they did have that drug-free society that they always blathered about, that the Pigs and prisons and other such people would no longer have that cash cow that drugs brought them and they would be forced to cease business and Washington did not want that. They do not want it here either, even more, because there is far more money at stake here. So, they run a charade just like they have with the drug issue, they pretend to be at war and obsessed with eliminating something when they are actually just trying to make that enemy of theirs ever more profitable. No matter how many huge drug dealers America busts, they never seem to stop the flow of drugs, and the same goes for Al-Queda, no matter how many Ron Jeremy look-alikes they bust, they will never stop radical Islam. Washington does not care about how they are spreading radical Islam, in fact, they love it, because they want all those poor ignorant Muslim kids to take up arms against them and fight. The more the merrier as far as Washington goes, for the more fighters they have against them, the more money that they can milk out of this whole thing. Bush knows this and so does Kerry, and that's why this issue wil be glossed over between now and Election Day. Both of those dudes have already profited off of this and they both want to profit off of it more, that's why they want to be President so badly. America sees a world of money out there for the taking, and they intend to take as much of it as they possibly can. This issue does not come down to the obsessive mentality of radical Islam, it comes down to the obsessive mentality of America towards money. Washington just wants this war to generate as much money for them as it can, and they do not care what they have to do to get it either. Their blind obsession about this is far worse than any Islamic obsession with faith and far more dangerous too, because it is America's obsessions that are fueling the Islamic ones, not the other way around. As America does more and more against the Muslims, that fuels the radical islamic shit that spawns the Al-Quedas of the world, and that in turn spawns the money flow that America desires so. Washington knows exactly what they are doing too, they planned this shit out every bit as much as bin Laden planned out September 11th, 2001. That's why they continually provoked the Muslims until they decided to do something about it, and that gave America the excuse to wage all-out war and grab the money left and right. Since radical Islam is so at odds with Western ways, it was a simple thing for Washington to goad the radical Muslims into a fight and start the cash stream flowing. Now that Al-Queda has splintered into many fragments, that translates to many more revenue streams for Washington and that is what they were after to begin with. They know that most Americans cannot and/or will not see the duplicity here and will support them in their mad efforts, and they have taken full advantage of that to pull this shit off. America has every intention of fighting this war the wrong way just as they have, they do not care about the price that will be paid by the American people in the deaths of soldiers and the other costs of it all. As long as this War On terror continues to be so profitable as it has, Washington is not about to change one fuckin' thing. What seems to be the wrong way to do things is actually the right way because it does achieve the real objectives of the war, making money for The Establishment and its friends. As long as that continues, Washington does not care how wrong its tactics seem to the outside world, because America has its own obsessions to feed here and this war is doing that like nothing before ever has, and feeding those obsessions is top priority for America, and in that realm, everything could not be more successful. No debate of any kind will ever bring this out, and , as a result, things will only get worse for the average person all around the world as this fucked-up madness continues unabated.
