September 22, 2001- Manipulation

The biggest problem in all of this crisis bullshit that America now faces is the manipulation factor. Many Americans feel that this is so, but they have no idea who is really doing the manipulating, and who they are doing it to. The problem is that the American people just still don't realize that they are the ones being manipulated in this scene by the terrorists. That fact is the scariest fuckin' thing about all of this.

As I have said numerous times before on this site ( and the old one) and the Hotline, the American people are not at all too well versed in being able to see anything outside of themselves. The terrorists are fully aware of that fact and have been exploiting it to the fullest. They are fully aware that America is a society based on intolerance and intractable intransigence in their thinking. America is not the first society to do this, though. Many other powerful societies have also done this in the past. This sort of thinking is a direct result of man's ego getting too big. When he sees an intractable attitude of intransigence about things as a sign of strength, that's when he falters. America adopted this attitude from its inception, but really got it going in the 20th Century. This is seen in the black and white, legal or illegal , moral or immoral, no middle ground attitude that has permeated American society. The fact that the USA is number one when it comes to incarcerating their citizens is proof enough of that. This attitude also comes from the fact that America is an entire continent in terms of size, and that there are abundant natural resources here that have been turned into mega-profits by Mr. Businessman. This has enriched America and contributed to its arrogant attitude. Since the country is so big and there have always been so many people here, the people have been looked on as just another disposable natural resource for a long time. Money, not humanity, became the driving force behind America. This "survival of the fittest" mentality ensures that the people will look upon one another as competitors or enemies, not as allies or countrymen. This inevitably leads to the idea that some lives are worth more than others. In America, a welfare ( dole) recipient is not at all looked on as anything close to equal to a corporate executive. There is a total dichotomy of people that are on the right side of American society, and those that are on the wrong side. Into that dichotomy stepped the terrorists on September 11th.

They stepped in and manipulated it to the extreme. The events of that day took the lives of those that are considered more valuable to American society by a large margin. Look at how the whole thing was pulled off. The terrorists used flights that were almost exclusively used by businessmen to get to wherever they were going to. Most of the passengers on these planes were business types, not leisure travelers. These planes were not flown into any housing projects where there was some sort of gang conclave going on with the gangbanger leaders mapping out plans to sell all kinds of heroin and cocaine to the junkies of the projects. They weren't flown into buildings that housed shooting galleries where the junkies went to get high and shit and were infested by whores turning tricks for dope and shit. They weren't flown into neighborhoods full of addicts and child molesters and thieves and other criminals and welfare cases. They didn't fly into any prisons. They didn't fly into any Indian reservations. They took those fuckin' planes and blasted into corporate headquarters and the military nerve center of America. This insured that the dead would almost all be those that America valued more than others, and it worked. They successfully manipulated the American people into a state of shock that has never been seen here before. Would al these telethons and relief efforts to help the victims of this tragedy be going on if the victims were gang leaders or addicts or convicts or something like that? I don't think so. Right now they would be viewed as America martyrs, but their memory would fade with time. The memory of corporate types jumping out of 80th floor windows will never be forgotten by America. The memory of gangbangers doing that would be. So, the terrorists have successfully manipulated the American people by scaring the shit out of them by only killing those that America valued, those that the people could relate to. This is total manipulation of the American people.

Another manipulation comes from the acts themselves. Ever since they've happened, Americans have ben freaking out like never before. All you have heard is how the terrorists can come back at anytime and do this and more shit again and all that. Americans are not too well-schooled in the art of war. The Pentagon keeps its shit secret so that the people cannot really dig what it's all about. Therefore, American don't understand guerrilla warfare tactics. Guerrilla warfare is what you wage when you are vastly outnumbered and out muscled by your opponent. Sustained offensive maneuvers will not work in this situation, so you resort to guerrilla shit. What that means is that you use isolated strikes that are meant to inflict maximum damage in minimum time and effort. That's what happened on September 11th. You had these four planes hijacked and they all crashed and did their damage within an hour and a half, and then it was over. However, the Americans didn't see it that way, and still don't. They are still all paranoid that there will be more of this shit real soon. If you are conducting a true guerrilla war, you never come back again real soon, for that's part of the tactics. You do your deed, and let the ramifications do the rest. The terrorists have been gone since September 11th. Their manipulation of the American people has not. The more paranoia and over-reaction that they can sow in the country, the more successful that they have been. They know full well that Americans cannot see past the images of the planes hitting the buildings and shit, and they're counting on that. All the wild rumors and speculations that are sweeping the land are doing them very well too. All this shit about atomic and biological warfare are part of this. Only a really fuckin' huge organization with thousands upon thousands of participants could pull those kind of things off. You need these numbers to do this shit because of the logistics and danger involved in fucking with this kind of shit. These things are very dangerous indeed, and can backfire on you really fast, so you need a large organization to deal with them so that you can have very redundant scenes surrounding it to insure against backfiring. You need lot sand lots of people that are trained in dealing with this shit, and that involves scientists and shit, and those aren't so easily trained in terrorist schools. These current terrorists are just a small number in the Muslim world. This shit about having adherents in 60 countries simply means that there are a few hundred here, a few hundred there, and so on. If you add them all up, I don't think that you'd be able to sell out the United Center for a hockey game. By doing what they did, they made themselves look really big and bad to the Americans,. Who immediately got an over inflated picture of of these people's numbers. After all, the passenger-to hijacker ratio on those planes was no more than 10 to 1 on any of them. If these people had huge numbers, they could have halved that number very easily. But what they did makes them look larger than they really are to the American people and scared them to death, so once again they successfully manipulated them as part of their scheme.

In the last column, I wrote about how the Drug War was part of their manipulation scheme. How they conned millions out of the government to kill a few "dealers' In the name of stopping drugs. How they made sure that the people that perpetrated this were nowhere near any kind of drugs so that they wouldn't have any of those invisible particles clinging to them to be detected by the ultraviolet wands. Never mind those boxcutters and knives that they had, those were cool, just no invisible particles. This whole thing shrewdly manipulated the American way of thinking, for it was something that pretended to be with America, and then turned on it and showed another type of evil. The terrorists knew that America is so fuckin' fanatical about drugs that they will spare no expense looking for them , and that if you say that you are with them, then you can sneak right under their noses and do whatever, as we saw on September 11th.They manipulated the fact that America is so strident about fighting this Drug War that they couldn't see anything else coming until it was too late. As long as they avoided drugs, they could do whatever they wished, and they did just that.

The American response to all of this is open to their manipulation as well. They knew full well that this would be a divisive issue amongst the American people, and that it would drive a wedge between them, furthering the divisions in society. Thus far this effect has been minimal, but it will become apparent as time goes on. The President says that this will be a protracted war, unlike the Gulf War of 1991. The terrorists are counting on that. The longer it goes on, the more opposition will build to it, especially if there are heavy casualties and expenses about it. This is what made Vietnam an ultimate failure. These terrorists know how to fight a guerrilla war way fuckin' better than the Commie Vietnamese ever did. They are in the prefect spot in the world to pull that off, too. They already did once to the USSR, and they can probably do it again. When the American people became so bitterly divided against one another over Vietnam, we were fucked. These cats can do that again, and have every intention to. That's why the American response has to be a careful one. If we get bogged down in Afghanistan, all this current patriotic fervor will turn into something else, and possibly lead to a divide and conquer type of thing, which is what happened in Vietnam. That is another way in which the terrorists are manipulating the American people. Images of innocents in Afghanistan being obliterated by American firepower is another way the wish to accomplish this. They have no compunction about putting their own people in harm's way, not if it serves their purpose. Whatever America does in response is something that they will use to try and manipulate things further, after all, that's what you do in a guerrilla war situation.

How do these terrorists know how to manipulate the American people so well? Because that's who taught them how to do it, that's why. The America taxpayers bought and paid for these terrorists education at that wonderful CIA terrorist training school in Central America. There they were taught how to wage a guerrilla warfare campaign by the best in the fuckin' business. Now the students are going to try and show the teachers that they have learned so well that they are now the superior ones to the teachers. The reason that these guys know just how to manipulate the American people so well is that they were trained by them and had the American way of thinking indoctrinated into them. They know just what to do and how to do it because they are intimately familiar with America and how it's set up. The fact that America created this monster that is now terrorizing it is the main problem here. That makes these dudes uniquely qualified to wreak havoc on an unprecedented scale In the USA. When President Bush talks all this shit about how America is going to eradicate terrorism at its roots, he needs to look in the mirror when he says that and make sure that the Government that he's the titular head of stops creating these people in the first place, for their manipulation shall make sure that America sows the seeds of its own downfall. The reason that these dudes are so scary is that they are a creation of America itself, and that needs to stop happening if we are really serious about winning this New War.
