Many say that blame has to start at the top of the pyramid and that would lead us right to President Bush. After all, he is the titular head of America and as such, he's the one on which all responsibility rests in the end anyway. As we all know, President Bush is not one that admits mistakes very well, he still says that his worst one was trading Sammy Sosa, and this after almost five years as President, and sammy Sosa becoming an over-the-hill washout in Baltimore and losing his pop culture cachet and star status. If that's Still the worst thing that the guy thinks that he did, he's not about to come out and say that he fucked up here and admit mistakes. Even if he is the President, he is still not stronger than nature and nowhere near as strong and powerful as a category four hurricane is so there's only so much he can do about something like that. Yes, he can mobilize troops and supplies and such, and he did do that this time, but his offers were rebuffed. They were rebuffed by the local politicians in Louisiana, a Democratic state with New orleans being under Democratic control for sixty years now, and these stupid hick fuckers played politics with a situation like this by not grabbing the help from Bush right away just because his is a Republican administration and they are Democrats. The Mayor of New orleans did this by not taking advantage of the buses that Washington said that he could have to use to evacuate the people, instead, he chose to put them in the Superdome, and let chaos and death reign instead of getting the poor people out of town on these government buses. The Congressmen in Washington have a role to play in this as well, for it is they that dole out the money in America, and they had a lot to say about this particular situation before it happened. They were told that one day a massive hurricane would hit that area, and that catastrophic disaster would result, and that the only way that could be lessened was to improve the levee system that New Orleans has and that they needed to allocate money for that. Well, they did, at least they tried to do it. So many Senators said that they needed some of that money themselves to fund something in their home state that was far more important than levees in Louisiana. Ted Kennedy had to grab millions of it to build a highway in Boston that went way overbudget, and Ted made up for that by raiding the levee money. So did many other Congressmen, they took money out of that fund so they could do some shit at home that would get them re-elected, so much of that money went away from Louisiana altogether. What did get there did not get to the proper people most of the time. The levees in New Orleans are not run by Washington, the state of Louisiana, or even the City Of New Orleans. They are run by some kind of levee board, like a park district or forest preserve board type of thing. These were the dudes that got the money from Washington and were supposed to use it to fix the levees, but the did no such thing, they went apeshit when they saw all that money and ran every which way with it, and probably gave a lot of it to strippers that gyrated to Led Zeppelin's "When The Levee Breaks" and other stupid shit like that instead of using it like they were supposed to.
So everyone was grabbing every piece of the pie that they possibly could get and that was what caused this to be such a disaster. The politicians in New Orleans were so busy stealing it that they let their Pig Force become one of the worst big city Forces in America, these fuckers were barley able to handle Mardi Gras, and could not have been expected to handle a disaster like the one they were saddled with. So they came apart right at the seams real quickly, and that made everything much worse. Same thing with the money that Washington stole from that fund to finance its endless war in Iraq, the war where thousands of National Guardsmen from Louisiana and Mississippi as well as everywhere else in America are instead of at home, as we all saw what the lack of them led to after the hurricane hit. All of this shit boils down to one thing, greedy motherfucking politicians on all levels and from all political parties being interested in nothing more then what they can steal for themselves and their cronies and having no care whatsoever for the people that they are supposed to serve. One of the reasons that relief was so slow to get there seems to be that these fuckers were far more interested in covering their asses and trying to cover everything up than in actually being of any help at all. Many of these people probably had to make sure that certain records and the like were destroyed before everyone found out exactly what the fuck they had been up to for so long and that's why it all took so long. Too many people look as if they are trying to cover something up, and they should be, because it is all their fault that this happened, not any one person or agency or whatever.They are doing that so that they don't Have to be the fall guy for everyone that was just doing the same thing but everyone cannot go down, so one poor fellow has to. They are still not concerned with the people, all this finger pointing is merely to deflect attention away from themselves, giving them time to cover up their tracks as best as they can as they distract everyone all the time. The fact that they all stole from this project will never really be addressed, just one dude will be the scapegoat, probably the mayor of New Orleans, but every politician on every level was guilty of this. But that's not like it's anything new, as the politicians do that shit for everything no matter what It is. They see their access to the public's Money as some kind of gift to them, one that they get to use as they please. They see it all as a giant money tree that they are allowed to shake every time they want something and this disaster is not about to stop them shaking it at all. The fact that a mere few will go down over this ensures that, as the majority of those that fucked everything up so that this catastrophe could occur will get away free and just go right back to doing it again with something else. They will not care at all that they caused such a disaster to occur, after all, it did not affect them, just the poor and underclass, so that makes it alright to them. Of course, this will only ensure that these sort of catastrophes will happen over and over again in America and the same old shit will be to blame, but that is of no concern to The Establishment either. Only the money made and material wealth garnered means anything to them and stealing from the public and they had an awful lot of that from the levee money, so they are as fat and Happy as ever. They are content to pass that Laugh-In award around as much as necessary, until the next catastrophe happens and another group of their cronies gets to pass it around then.
The saddest thing is that all this finger-pointing is just going to fuck everything up as New Orleans tries to rebuild just as much as it fucked it up leading to this disaster. That area is now going to get billions of dollars from Washington, it has already Begun in fact, and all that means to the politicians is that they get to steal even more than ever before and they're licking their chops in anticipation of that. That's where the utter devastation of the area is a blessing for the politicos because that makes it very easy for them to ensure that things get set up their way and their way only and that they get maximum dollar for themselves. Right now, no one is there to stop them, and when they do come in, they'll have to be servile to these politicians and that will ensure that they are powerless to stop them from stealing everyone blind again. New Orleans is only going to get rebuild their way, and there is not a single one of these types that considers the poor and underprivilged part of their plan, so you can bank on the fact that most of the evacuees will never return again. The relentless finger-pointing makes it easier for all of that to happen too, for it seems to have come down to a contest of who can yell and shout loud enough and label the other one the bad guy here. Someone is going to be saddled with that moniker, and that will make it hard for them to get on the thievery big time. No one wants that to be them, so they are all screaming just as loud and as long as they can, trying to get you to believe them just to get them to shut the fuck up and leave you alone. Whoever does not get that distinction will be in line to steal on a massive scale, second only to the war in that distinction. This homeland disaster provides an opportunity for people that are unable to get in on the stealing through the war to get in on it this way. The circle of fat cats that get ever fatter will be enlarged and that will thrill Mr. Businessman no end. So, it is very important to point the fickle finger now and point it good and hard right at someone like that statuette used to do, because doing that correctly now will ensure that you will be able to rake in untold amounts of wealth for yourself later on. If you fuck that up now however, you will be shut out of the gold rush and no one wants that. As the hysteria and wildness surrounding this story start to subside as time goes on, the finger pointing will come to an end and the assessment will be made as to who got it pointed at them last and hardest and as a result got shut out of things. That day is starting to become visible to many, so they are getting every use of the fickle finger that they can, and that just means that we can expect to see more buck passing and the like for the rest of the month at least. This is all part of the fucking sick and macabre game that these people that masquerade as leaders play with everyone else and their lives. They scream and yell at each other now and act like they Are adversaries and such, but it's all just the start of the next segment of their plans, the part where they get to start stealing on a massive scale again. For it will be the same people that will be in charge of rebuilding New Orleans that were in charge of building it before, and we all have seen what a job they did then, and there is zero reason to expect them to do anything differently now and they shall not disappoint us on that one. To them, it is all a free for all grab bag, get as much as you can for yourself as fast as you can, and fuck those that have no chance at grabbing any of it for themselves at all. The fact that an insane attitude like that is what makes natural disasters far worse in America is not even considered here, and never has been, and there's just no natural disaster big enough in the world to make these Establishment types change their minds on this one iota. They make even bigger money from disasters anyway, so they don't consider them disasters at all really, to them, they are blessings. In the end, it is only The Establishment that will benefit from a rebuilt New Orleans, no one else, so Hurricane Katrina was a money storm to them, it might as well have rained liquid gold, because that's what they are making out of the situation. That's all that they intend to make out of the situation too, and that means that there will be another catastrophe in that part of America again someday, and the root causes of it will be exactly the same ones as the ones behind the catastrophe right now , and the whole circus will start up all over again, the fingers will be pointed every which way again and everyone will start jostling for position in the next great free for all grab bag and the cycle will play itself out once again just as surely as the weather cycles that bring us hurricanes like Katrina will play themselves out, and the manmade cycles will be far more predictable then the weather ones, and infinitely more deadly too, because no one does a disaster like America does.
