September 9, 2004- The Four Principles

As everyone realizes, we are just days away from the third anniversary of the day that America just will not stop talking about, September 11th, 2001. For the last several days, there have been all sorts of shows on TV recounting the events of that day from all sorts of different angles, from the architectural side of things to the historical side of things to the what's happened since side of things, everywhere you have turned in America as of late, there has been talk about that day. Of course, the Government had to get into the act as well, as they have been the ones leading the way of keeping memories of that day alive and well these last three years. Don't forget, that was the day that the War On Terror started, so the Government has a vested interest in keeping the memory of that day going. Every year at this time since, they have used the anniversary as an excuse to hold all sorts of pep rallies for the war Effort, using the horrific memories that this day has burned into the minds of so many Americans to remind us all just why they are at war all around the globe. They need to do that this year more than before too, because the Administration has taken a lot of shit these last 18 months about their war Effort, specifically the War In Iraq. Many people have been outwardly questioning the need for that war, especially since the American death toll from that conflict has exceeded the 1,000 mark, so Washington is especially eager to use the anniversary of September 11th this year to rev up flagging support for the war effort. So, they had some kind of conference that was sponsored by the Rand Corporation that discussed the War Effort, and the Pentagon sent Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz to address the assembled fatcats and bigwigs about the subject, and essentially have a pep rally for the war effort. Wolfowitz started out by announcing that the real target of terrorism is not America, but freedom itself, and said that the deaths of the people on that day were cold blooded murders, and that America just had to do something about all of this, and that was what all this war shit is about. Wolfowitz said that America must sow the seeds of hope and expand the appeal of freedom in the Muslim world, and that is what they are trying to do with the war. He outlined four principles that he said America must adherer to in fighting this war. The first one was that the USA must realize that this is going to be a long struggle, and that it will not end quickly and dramatically or anytime soon. The second one was that America must use all of the instruments of its national power, including military force, against terrorists. The third one was that this war needs to be waged in multiple theaters, including here in America itself. Lastly, Wolfowitz said that this war is ideological as well as physical, and that America has to do more than kill and capture terrorists. According to Wolfowitz, all of this is what the Pentagon and White House think that America needs to do in order to be successful in this war. Then, he went into pure pep rally mode, saying that America will not stop until all terrorists are banished from the Earth, and how determined America is to win this war, and effusively thanked the servicemembers of today for helping Washington get this done, and so forth and so on. That is essentially what Washington is pushing on this third anniversary of that tragic day, support the war and remember that it all started because of what happened that morning, and using it all as justification for all of its war efforts to date. However, if you look closely at these four principles, they don't seem all that effective at all, they just look like excuses for Washington to use.

To start out with, all that talk about how this will not an easy or short war shows that the Pentagon is now admitting what many knew all along, that this war shit is going to go on for many years, if not decades, to come. Wolfowitz himself said that it might take many decades to win this war, but win it America shall, and then he went into that shit about how it probably won't be marked by a single dramatic events like the fall of a wall or a surrender treaty. Washington is now admitting that it is going to take many, many years for this war to be won, and that only means that there will be many, many years more of Americans dying because of this war, and that much, much more of America' s resources will be tied up in this war, to the detriment of other parts of society, and that this whole war scene is going to be a big drain on America for a very long time to come. Now that suits Washington just fine, as it gives then many years to make many billions, perhaps trillions, of dollars off of the thing. How it will suit the rest of America is unknown, but it is obvious that Washington does not care about that fact at all, they know that it's way too late to try and stop the war, so now they are telling everyone to get ready for as long of a ride as they can make out of this shit. That part about America using all instruments of its national power in this war is another example of the bullshit that Washington is spouting here. All that this is doing is giving them the excuse to do whatever they feel is necessary against their enemies, and that no one is supposed to say anything about it either. This is nothing more that America saying that they can do whatever they need to do against the enemy, no matter how intense that may end up being, giving Washington license to bomb, strafe, shoot, and generally kill anyone and everyone that they feel is against them, basically acting like every tyrant that America so self righteously criticizes all the time. That shit about fighting the war in multiple theaters is the same thing, all that says is that America thinks that they have the right to go anywhere in the world that they want to in order to fight against those that they say oppose them. This goes very nicely with the second principle that Washington uses, because the combination of the two says that America gets to go anywhere anytime and do anything that they feel that they have to against anyone, basically giving America the right to fight without any rules and no accountability to anyone or anything. That last principle about how the war is ideological as well as physical is just Washington saying that they get to disseminate any an all propaganda about the other side that they wish, like making Islam into a religion of hate and evil and being total racists against the Arabs and their society, and making as many people as possible believe this as Gospel. So when you put these four principles together, they come out to America going everywhere in the world to do as they please while they justify it through propaganda, and that this is going to go on for a lot of years to come.

That does not sound like some kind of formula for victory in a war, it sounds more like blueprints for some kind of takeover of the entire planet under the name of America and "freedom." Nothing in these principles is concrete in any way, they are all this vague bullshit about shadowy "enemies" that seemingly lurk everywhere on Earth and can only be dealt with through total annihilation. Even Washington now makes it all sound like some kind of chase the rainbow game, saying that it may very well go on for decades. For this vague plan, America is supposed to give up untold amounts of its money and give over its sons and daughters to fight this war for Washington. The White House has to use the anniversary of September 11th to push this plan for a reason, they want to get the American people thinking of something other than the real issues at hand here, a favorite tactic of this Administration. They want to remind one and all of the terror and horror of that day and then tell them that those events are why this war is necessary to try and scare them into compliance. If Washington can dredge up enough images of people jumping put of 100th floor windows and the Twin Towers collapsing in a heap of debris, they can freak everyone out once again, by making them remember how badly that shit all scared them that day, and by making them thirst for revenge by remembering that the planners and plotters of that day still have not been caught, all of this culminating in another strong outpouring of support of America's War Efforts. If everyone is all thinking about getting revenge for those that were killed and injured that day, they will not notice that the four principles that Washington is going by in this war are just excuses for America to wage war on the rest of the world for the forseeable future.Because the truth is that every single death that happened in America on September 11th, 2001 has been avenged, and that was accomplished a long time ago, American forces have killed far more than 3,000 people in the war now, so everyone that was killed has been avenged now, so there is no good reason to use their deaths as justification. Even when you factor the 1,000 plus deaths that America has suffered since the start of the war in its military, there have still been more casualties on the other side, many more, and the disparity grows every day. Yet, Washington continues to insist that vengeance for that day has to be gotten. Even though America has also thrown out not one, but two governments in hostile countries, that is not enough to settle the score from that day. It seems that no matter what America does in its War Effort, how many enemy soldiers it kills or captures, how much it destroys, how many hostile regimes are overthrown, it will never be enough to avenge the lives lost on that day, at least that's what Washington is saying. They say that because of that day, that America now has the right to go anywhere in the world to impose its will, and that will continue for the future. Washington obviously feels that the events of that day gave them the right to basically take over the world and that no one can stop them. They have acted in that manner throughout the war thus far, and they obviously have no plans of changing that anytime soon. Their four principles show that to one and all, and people like Wolfowitz make no apologies for it either. America is fond of calling September 11th 2001 "the day the world changed", and it now seems to mean that the world changed not because of a catastrophic terrorist attack on America, but because that was the day when America finally decided that it was time for them to take over the entire world like God wanted them to. Every year at this time, they broadcast that message, this year more so than ever, because they have to scare the American people back into line before November 2nd so that Bush can be re-elected. That is about all these pep rallies that Wolfowitz and the gang are holding now are about.

The only question is going to be how long the American people can be sufficiently traumatized by the events of September 11th, 2001 so that they never realize the actual intentions of Washington in this war. All this vague talk of asymmetrical warfare and shadowy enemies is merely the talk of war profiteers that want to keep the gravy train rolling for as long as possible. Americans need to realize that this war is no different than the War On Drugs, a war that has been declared on something vague, something that cannot be removed from the Earth. For just like drugs, terrorism and those that advocate it will always be around society in some form or another. There will always be those that do not like whatever government is ruling them and want to change that quickly through devious means, they can never be totally eliminated. Even if America was to stride into every country in Earth and go after the terrorists, they could never ever get the job done, because terrorism is a mindset, a mentality, not a specific society or country. The American people need to know that, because Washington sure does. They know that these idealistic goals that Wolfowitz is talking about in terms of winning this war are unattainable, just as it was unattainable for Ronnie Reagan to make America a drug-free society back in his day. Washington just want to use the excuse of terrorism to become the biggest Imperialists in history, the Empire that actually does take over the world. Their four principles are things for precisely that purpose, they have no use in any war shit. They sound like the rough draft of some kind of manifesto that Washington would write for America taking over the world. Nowhere in these principles does it speak of what these enemies of America are. So, any rogue renegades that listen to no government or anyone else can be the excuse for America to blast into another country and institute a regime change, in fact, that's what America wants to do in Iran. All that talk of spreading freedom throughout the Muslim world is just code for taking over their countries, either outwardly or through puppet governments. Washington obviously intends on doing this for as long as they can get away with it too, as they are telling the American people to hunker down for a long one here. All of this because of the terrible events of one day three years ago. Yes, that was a horrible day, but these things that are being done in the name of that day are equally as horrible. It is frightening to see America say that it has the right to do anything it pleases to combat terrorism, for it was no t necessary to colonize the entire world just to ensure that the events of that day never happened again. The worst part about it now is that Washington is getting so bold about it all, at first, they tried to hide it, but now, they come right out and say it in these four principles that Wolfowitz talked about. It just seems to be a matter of how long Washington can get away with this, how long will Americans be paralyzed by fear because of the events of that day? For it seems that Washington took those events as some sort of mandate to conquer the world, and they are becoming increasingly more obvious about it every day. Wolfowitz and friends are hoping that this will continue for a long time to come, as they are getting very rich from it all, and stand to get nothing but richer the longer it goes on. These four principles of theirs are nothing more than a plan to grab as much of the world's riches as they possibly can, using the war effort as an excuse. The scariest part of this all is that it has the potential to bring America tumbling down exactly like the Twin Towers tumbled down on that fateful day three years ago, and if that happens, it will be a lot more than 3,000 people killed by it, and that will truly be the day that the world changed forever.
